Star Wars KOTOR 1 and 2 topic

Was wondering if anyone could answer this for me...

I beat Knights of the Old Republic 2,and i'm getting further in KOTOR1,and i was wondering what's the link,if any,between who you play in KOTOR1 and KOTOR2?

I haven't beaten KOTOR1 yet,but if Ebon Hawk ends up with the Exile in KOTOR2,is Exile supposed to be your character from KOTOR1?Or is Exile just another character who was wept up in the whole mess that Revan and Malak started in the series?

I'm wondering because in KOTOR1,you start as a soldier,whereas in KOTOR2,you start as a Jedi,and was wondering if that was because you became a Jedi in KOTOR1.

In KOTOR 1 you are a soldier, you are NOT the exile, I will NOT spoil the big thing in KOTOR1. Period. lol.

In KOTOR 2, you are the exile, a person who served with Revan and Malak in the Mandalorian Wars.

They are not the same people. Trust me.

i beat KOTOR1 yesterday...lol..THAT was a shock!

I got the light side/Jedi ending,I made Juhani into a Jedi,and Bastilla even confessed her love for me...lol

well,i have the player's guide...and i found out as i was turning to that section in the book,i was right at that point...lol....but yeah,it was definately a shock,but a nice one...lol
