Just noticed today that JAST published Jellyfish's Sisters: Last Day of Summer a week ago. Big budget animated eroge games are practically extinct, so i'm rather floored they were able to acquire the license. When was the last time a western publisher did this? The '90s?

I do vaguely remember those images. I wonder if that's a world record for a single game?

Well, expanding if you included all the old PS1 and PS2 games they've added to the higher tiers of PS Plus. But if you mean new stuff, yeah.

Sony shuttering their Japan Studio was a bad idea in hindsight when it needs those games more than ever to fill their shrinking library.

Nearly 5 years into the PS5's life, and half of Sony's audience still remains on the PS4. You could say both Sony and Microsoft have pigeonholed themselves in the graphics arms race that they have to resort to releasing on 3rd-party platforms to recoup costs.

No PS5 Pro is good. But too many games focused on graphics and pretty much just copying other successful games' mechanics. Astro Bot looked like the only game that put fun first.

Playstation State of Play later today. If Sony focuses on a PS5 Pro instead of quality games that require any type of PS5, they'll have missed the mark. A PS5 Pro matters not when almost every game is still being made with PS4 in mind.

Multiple studio closures today from Microsoft. Man, what a rotten company. So many mismanaged IPs that were once stars of the gaming world.

No official connection, but Akira is clearly based off of V.G.'s Yuka, with similar body shape, hair length, and aspects of the waitress outfit. F40 also by TK, and Seela has the same glasses and hairstyle (though blonde) of V.G.'s Kaori. Makoto was later based on V.G.'s Jun (dark skin, wrestler.)
