They've not very interesting to read. Help me out on this one; I'm basically venting and wanted to see if anyone else felt the same way about them.

They can be useful, unless every one has the same thing on them. Such as for Anime its a good way to find out what other people like so I can go check it out. At other times its not very informative such as posting a do you like Big Boobs thread in the Big Boobie section, you know what the response will be.

Favorites are hella boring to read. If it was a thread where you'd have to give your opinion about something (not some shit like "lol s0nik ur meri0"), then it'd be okay.

List threads aren't that bad. I guess.

I think they're so popular because in them, people can just talk about themselves and what they like. People love talking about themselves, even if nobody's listening. I think it's human nature or something.

No one's getting upset about them. But, don't you think things are much simpler when people are completely honest with each other about what they like and don't like, and are able to discuss their ideas openly without fear of rejection, or better, being able to accept that other people don't share the same ideas?

That's basically why I made this thread. My opinion's such that I don't particularly like threads like those, but that's also no reason for people who do like them to stop making them or posting in them.

Pretty much,i do say what i like and don't like,i've always been honest like that.

A case in point is Megaman.I like Megaman,Megaman X and Megaman Battle Network.I really don't like Megaman Legends or Megaman Zero,but at the same time,I don't go around bashing Legends or Zero series either.I just say "I'm sorry,but I'm not a fan of those series.",and i leave it at that.

Friends can disagree on things,right? ^_^
