It's so far one of the better Final Fantasys in the series. The main villian, Sephiroth, gets a following in numerous magazines and parody cartoons for his dirty deeds.

Being 4th or 5th does "technically" make it one of the better Final Fantasys I guess... your reasoning for this however... a bigger following just means it got better exposure.

FF7 was the first RPG I played on the computer and its still my favorite. While I do see and agree with JG00's statements it doesn't mean I still don't love the game.

Yeah, that's what I said. Has anyone seen that Robot Chicken skit of Final Fantasy VII? Cloud is working at some fast food restaurant and backed up by Tifa, Aeris, Yuffie and Barret. Guess who the manager is in that one. ^_^

In speaking of Final Fantasy, I posted a slightly original fanfic about it in the Fanfiction Section. It's a demo disk of a story that I pay post on some other website if I get a following. It's called Final Fantasy Visions. It's roughly based on concepts of Final Fantasy's IV and VII. It may include more games, however.....

If you like any of those games, you'll probably enjoy Visions.

I remember that episode of Robot Chicken. I remember the theme song for Sephiroth was changed so that instead of hearing "SEPHIROTH" you heard "HAMBURGAH". And of course, "Sephiroth attacks with Unpaid Overtime!" Classic.
