i IMPLORE you sir, go get yourself a copy of final fantasy VII, one of the greatest rpg's of all frickin' time, and play it!!!

and if not FFVII, try FFIX or FFX - they've also got auto-life abilities, just not with materia.

Uh oh, that auto-life didn't go into effect. One second...

*Uses Life 2 on Tetsaru*

You may wanna stop asploding like that. It does a number on your stamina when you and Tifa are having meetings...

IN BED

Not that I'd need to worry, based on dream data. I've hit Tifa like a Black Belt in some of my dreams.

I hear ya, Tifa is the VERY first video game girl I fell in love with. And she is by far my favorite, even 7 years after I discovered her. (I'm 19 now.)

*grabs Tifa and hefts her breasts*

I mean, how can you hate a girl that looks THIS good? =3

Unless your ideal FFVII girl is Aeris or Yuffie. Even with those odds stacked against Cloud, Tifa is still my kind of FFVII girl. Even used her, good ol' Cloud and Cait Sith in the battle against Sephiroth in his One Winged Angel form.

Thank Square Seph didn't impale Tifa on his sword, otherwise the gamers here would be REALLY angry. Thousands of Sephiroth Hate sites will spread like a virus.

Ah yes, gotta love Final Attack+Life 2.

Also Tifa is awesome, pump her up with Speed Pluses and Luck Pluses and you have a bouncy beatdown machine.

Yuck. There's got to be a half billion better ways to spend your time than play that sad excuse for an RPG.
Like say, looking at Tifa CGs online.

Er, what's Dark Soul? Is it like a death move used by Sephiroth in the game?

I've played Final Fantasy I and II, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, and Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles. I've never owned a Sony console and I never will. I do hope they give us FF VII DS though, that would be F***ing awesome. I bet there is a licensing problem involved though.

FF VI will be coming to DS soon.  But that's probably it for the remakes.  If it weren't for the absurd size of FF VII (several cds worth), the DS could easily handle it as its 3d rendering ability exceeds PS1's.  Instead, they'll focus on brand expansion with new spinoffs (such as Dirge of Cerberus, Crystal Chronicles II, and Dragon Quest Swords)

If it weren't for the absurd size of FF VII (several cds worth)

...which is all video cutscenes. A slight in resolution to one-DS-screen size will drop the overall file size like a stone.

Whether or not this means DS Card Sized is another thing, but cartridge size increases all the time. Sounds like a task for the homebrew scene.

Even so, I doubt they can get it down to less than 128 megabits (that's 16 megabytes for some of you folks)
I've got no idea what the biggest DS card size is right now, but the N64 version of Mario 64 is 32 kilobit, and it was translated almost 1:1 as one of the first DS games.  It stands to reason that future DS capacity will eventually be several factors of 2 larger, possibly even more than 128 but I'm willing to bet anything higher than that is cost-prohibitive at this time.  Maybe in a few years.  It took several years for 256 megabit N64 cards to become common, and the 512s were so rare becuase of the expensive production cost, even at the end of the N64 life.

Forget a DS port of FF7, they need to revamp it for the PS3, dammit.

Seeing Tifa in bouncy full-3D glory would be totally awesome!

As I recall, Tifa's breast physics in the FF7 cutscenes were...attention-grabbing to say the least.  :P

KILLING KICK!!!
