Wow. You certainly went the extra mile creating character cards for obscure characters from popular Sci-Fi themes, like Ozzel. Poor guy.
Yeah, but Jinzo's a machine. Unless you have Amplifier and DNA Surgery to back him up, he doesn't count as a dragon. Unless Konami can make a dragon to negate traps, that combination will work.....
uh, dude, check that banned list i posted. Jinzo's only limited now. major props for pulling him from a 1st edition pack, i still only have the tin version of him... that'd probably sell for around $50 from an online store, maybe more. i remember pulling Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8, Cyber Dragon, Armed Dragon LV10, and TWO Mazera DeVilles (from 2 packs i grabbed at once) - it's always an awesome feeling when you find something like that.but, Amplifier? personally, i don't think it's all that great - besides, it came out WAY back in Ancient Sanctuary, the expansion where secret rares ended and ultimate rares hit the states, so it's not very "long-awaited" anymore. anyway, sure, you can use your own traps now, but now your Jinzo can die to a Mystical Space Typhoon, especially if that M.S.T. is set first (it IS a Quickplay Spell). if i recall correctly, if Amplifier is destroyed while it is equipped to Jinzo, then Jinzo goes down with it - just chain M.S.T. while he attacks or something, but not right after Amplifier is played, because the destruction effect will resolve before Amplifier's does (the last card in a chain always resolves first, remember), and Jinzo won't be destroyed by it. besides, with only 1 Jinzo in your deck, and, let's say 3 Amplifiers just for the hell of it, there's a good chance that you won't pull Jinzo easily (unless you search/Special Summon it somehow other than through Witch of the Black Forest, cuz she's still banned), and if you pull your Amplifiers with no Jinzo out, they're just dead draws - you could set them face-down as bluffs at best. i guess you could use Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu's flip effect to search for Amplifier if you got Jinzo on the field, but he's more for Warrior-Toolbox decks. sorry, but that just seems very ineffective to me. =/btw, you may or may not know, but Counter Trap cards (the ones with the curved arrow on them) can still negate Jinzo's summoning if they are chained to it because they are of a higher spell speed (level 3) than Jinzo's continuous effect (level 2, i believe), and if you know your chaining rules, which is where most people get confused, if someone chains a certain level spell speed card, you can only respond with one of equal or higher spell speed. as far as the rules go now, counter trap cards are the only cards that have a spell speed of level 3, which is the highest. so if you summon Jinzo, watch out for Solemn Judgment, Horn of Heaven, and the recent Forced Back - Seven Tools of the Bandit or another Solemn Judgment would probably be the only things that could save you at that time, and both of those cards require life point payments to activate, regardless of whether or not they resolve properly - you can't get "refunds" for activation costs.traps can also be chained to Royal Decree, which basically does the same thing as Jinzo. although it's only a Continuous Trap (level 2), another card, such as Dust Tornado (i THINK Normal Traps are also level 2, i could be wrong), could be chained immediately to its activation. since the last card in the chain resolves first, Dust Tornado would destroy Royal Decree, and then Royal Decree's effect would resolve... if it wasn't in the graveyard first. =/ok, enough of my raving... my favorite card, hmm... probably either D.D. Warrior Lady or Chaos Emperor Dragon: Envoy of the End (yeah, he's still banned... D.D.'s restricted). D.D. Assailant (also restricted) is cool too - i love the artwork on it. =D
