I was messing around with Graphaholic last night and found out how to rip individual animation frames from the Viper games.O_oPretty neat, huh?I'm not sure if anyone's noticed, but finding animated gifs of Viper GTB is near impossible these days. I think at one point there was a full set of Viper GTB gifs floating around the net, but it's all but lost now, though you occaissionally see gifs of Viper GTB floating around on 4chan.Anyhow, what I'm getting at is that if I could extract all of the individual frames of animation in Viper GTB, then afterwards I could reanimate them into gifs, and after much hard work, we'd have a full Viper GTB gif set.Of course, such a project would take hours, as Viper GTB is one of the longest Viper games, not to mention all of the time that would be needed to extract each file individually, and then the time it would take to reanimate, quality check, and so forth each file.In anycase, I think the possibility of being able to extract any animation from any Viper game is pretty amazing in itself. So far I've only tested it with Viper V16 and Viper GTB, but if happens to work with Viper RSR, or some of the newer games like M3 and M5, then we may be in for a treat after all. And, to show that I'm not joking, here are some animations I made myself after extracting the necessary files:http://65.98.68.194/~hyperguy/images/viper_gtb_gifs/R2(021).gifhttp://65.98.68.194/~hyperguy/images/viper_gtb_gifs/R2(025).gifhttp://65.98.68.194/~hyperguy/images/viper_gtb_gifs/akira_talk.gifhttp://65.98.68.194/~hyperguy/images/viper_gtb_gifs/akira_slave.gifThis one's pretty awesome. It took 40 minutes to animate:http://65.98.68.194/~hyperguy/images/viper_gtb_gifs/narsha_hit.gif
Think of it as an early Christmas present:http://hyperguy.net/downloads/viper_paradice_movies/03-P1.divxhttp://hyperguy.net/downloads/viper_paradice_movies/05-P2.divxhttp://hyperguy.net/downloads/viper_paradice_movies/05-P3.divxhttp://hyperguy.net/downloads/viper_paradice_movies/08-P4.divxhttp://hyperguy.net/downloads/viper_paradice_movies/12-M5.divxhttp://hyperguy.net/downloads/viper_paradice_movies/12-V.divxhttp://hyperguy.net/downloads/viper_paradice_movies/12-v2.divxhttp://hyperguy.net/downloads/viper_paradice_movies/13-PANIC.divxAsk Oniichan if you can't get Divx to work. :O
Oh damn, is it too late to ask for these ones again? >_<
I can upload them somewhere like rapidshare but have to as HG first since he made these.
Hmm, what program do you use to animate GIFs? I use GIFAnimator but it only joins the different images and I can't do anyhting with those that have blue background. I know I'm supposed to make that translucid and then set the background but this program doesn't have that option. Is there any free program which I can use?
Such a program is among my many projects. I can open and edit individual image frames, but I don't yet have it able to put a sequence of images together and to resave them as a gif (probably the most complicated part due to compression)
As long as the only thing you have to do is paste them and not make anything translucid or change backgrounds whcih is the thing I can't do.
... there's no clear indication of how the animated part lines up on the background (like Bravan's fist in my avatar).
Anyone recognize this one?http://cgi.4chan.org/h/src/1172984759626.gif
