Actually, as good as power metal is, I prefer more progressive stuff.

You know, crap that if you don't know music theory it will simply confuse the everloving fuck out of you?

I listen to stuff like Dream Theater, Rush, X Japan, Fates Warning, Queensryche, etc.

To me, Linkin Park, Limp Biskit, etc. are all just typical trash from the record producers who think they may have found a new way to sell records.

WHY? Linikin park was the first rock band I listned too so they actually got me into listening to rock. I like to keep my options open so I dont stick to one. Maybe u can give me a link to some sites that has the type of music u like. I would love to listen to it.

Erm.  LP.  Well, it is funny to sing 'Crawling in my Skin' in a really crappy voice with some friends whenever one of us is being over angsty.  The other person normally gets a good laugh and gets right out of the angst bucket.

ya I kno. It is really fun singingany kind of music it a very crappy tone. You get a real good laugh out of it when you make fun of each other to see which on the worst singers can sing the best. Awsome songs by the way.. I want a cd if u have one.

I suggest Ethereal Lullabies. It's my favourite out of the 3 CDs available.

Necromantic Overtures is a soundtrack I did for a Lilith Saintcrow book, it's also very good but more techno/electronic based than guitar.
