Two nutbars in England are opening a Jedi Church, where the congregation will mediate, practice fighting with lightsabers, and anybody caught using the Dark Side will face excommunication from the church. They will wear Jedi robes to service and listen to sermons printed from online fan sites.

I hate that this is happening. Who in their right mind claims a religion/philosophy from a work of fiction on their census reports, or even to the people they know?

Who in their right mind claims a religion.  Oh, right, a massive majority of the world's population.  As far as I'm concerned the whacko teachings of every religion is equivalent to the random mumblings of a crazed Star Wars fan.

Haha.  Touche, nicely done.

While I can understand Bang Doll's point of view its a little different to be creating a religion out of a blantantly fictional (and originally written as fiction) account than to base a religion off of a sacred text that has always been held as such.
