He did say post your desktop, rather than your desktop wallpaper. Otherwise how can we start flame wars about what software and operating system everyone is running without anyone having to specifically ask? Here's my wallpaper, made with my awesome lasso and slider skills in Photoshop. The Desktop: http://60fps.net/viperstuff/desktop.jpgThe Wallpaper: http://60fps.net/viperstuff/viperctrwall.jpg
But if we don't have the clean version how can you expect others to use the images for their desktops? I'd use that one you posted if the lime green in the background wasn't so eye-killing.

Here, heres the WALLPAPER I use on my DESKTOP. If I recall theres a wallpaper thread somewhere on the board, so this one was different, but I guess we can just have two because obviously any protest made towards you will wind up with a deleted post. Not hard to say "Requesting wallpaper please!" So heres my wallpaper, I fully expect the rest of the post to be wiped because someone gets butthurt.
I'm gonna go with HG here- this is a Desktop thread not a wallpaper thread, and thus the point is to post your desktop - with taskbar, icons, systray, and wallpaper intact. It's fun to see how different people work. Do you keep a desktop with 2 icons and most of the systray hidden, or do you let every program pour icons onto the desktop and never clean them off? What music player do you use? What OS?What can I say, I'm easily amused. Jingle car keys in front of me and I start jumping up and down. It's a fact!
Ryuusei, how the heck do you function with such an unclean and cluttered desktop?! O_o
Anyways, am I the only one on this forum that has a real life chick on his desktop? @.@ I feel so... estranged... so... so lonely @.@And ROMmate, you got a desktop image because you wanted a picture to ornament and decorate your functional tool, the desktop. The desktop is a computer utility, it serves a purpose beyond decoration. The fact that it can also be decorated is a secondary feature, not its purpose. Just because you use it for something other than what it's made for, does not mean the rest of the world follows suit.
