Please don't say that a casual gamer is playing for fun and a hardcore gamer is not playing for fun. Both of these people are playing for fun, but their definitions of fun are radically different. For the casual gamer, it's enough to simply play the game, winning, losing, completion be damned. For the hardcore gamer, the fun is reaching the highest peak of skill possible. It's why we have all these crazy people playing in fighting game tournaments and then the folks at home just mashing buttons and shooting the breeze.
Mixed here. I love video games with a passion, and I love being competitive in them; but there's a point where studying all the extreme details becomes too much like work and not enough like play, lol. :3
you've played shin megami tensei haven't you?
Actually no... but you'd be surprised at all the variables involved in Pokemon, lol... >_<
Proof that I'm casual: Purchased Super Mario Galaxy today, didn't even put in the machine to play it yet.
