Captain N is one of those things in my childhood I could go forever without remembering.
Too bad you are now conscious of blinking
I'm betting on Mega Man.
CAPCOM hasn't shown a lot of support for Nintendo consoles in the last ten years. Therefore, I seriously doubt Mega Man will be making an exclusive appearance on Wii anytime soon. Besides, Mega Man isn't the Mega Man we remember anymore anyway. He's gone through too many negative facelifts over the years to be worth bringing into the SSB series now. Try to bring in the X or ZX versions and people will clamor for the original. Bring in 80s Mega Man and younger fans won't recognize him. No-win situation.Sadly, CAPCOM's lack of interest means Viewtiful Joe and the Bionic Commando are probably also off the table. (I still think a Bionic Commando DS could compete for game of the year. It's the perfect classic for stylus control.)I'll put my money on Bonk as the next secret character to be revealed. Now that Sonic's on board it makes sense to also represent the TG16 in order to sell more classic games through Wii Shop.
That logic doesn't really work when you consider the obscurity of a lot of the characters in Smash Bros. I didn't even know about EarthBound until I found out where Ness was from.
Am I the only one who's happy with it...? I mean, he seems a good character to play with, why all the hate?
