My drummer believes that the Necronomicon is an actual magickal text and fears it because he says he could use to unleash demonic gods upon the Earth etc. etc.

Well, Yugioh technically doesn't have keyword abilities like Magic does, although Magic DID come up with several new ones in the Future Sight series that I haven't committed to memory yet...  Oh well, as long as you don't have some ridiculous summoning requirement or automatically get banned in the next Forbidden/Restricted list, you should be okay.  =D
