There aren't that many consistantly active posting members who read all the boards and I'm sure of those, not all of them have a (working) camera.

Yeah, I don't have a camera. The picture was taken with a friend's.

Ok, phone won't let me upload my pictures without the text messaging service. Considering I've only used my camera phone twice in the past year, i don't think i'm gonna subscribe to it =p

I guess I'll just have to remain vulgar and mysterious for the time being.

I dug up the digital camera my Dad dropped on me and I don't have a way of transferring pictures from the camera to a computer. The camera uses a proprietary cable for connection via USB and I don't have a card reader for its paltry 16 MB memory card.

But!

I found a card reader for $5, which beats the hell out of the card readers that were being sold at Walmart for $20. Flash memory also appears to be cheap, and my camera's a lot more capable than I initially realized, so I think I'm going to doing some photography here and there.

Just out of curiosity, how important is it that we post our pictures here? So important that those who don't are in the wrong? Personally, I don't mind posting my pic(provided it's a good one) because it puts a face behind my posts and shows that despite this amazing internet I'm human. But at the same time, I understand there's some who'd rather not post their picture, and even some who shouldn't.

Like JG for example. He's got quite a reputation as a walking, talking Viper dictionary. Were there to be a mythos surrounding North American Viper fans, the fact that he's yet to post a picture of himself would only make him seem that much more interesting(because people lose interest in what they already know and have already seen).

It's just like Marvel Comic's policy that under no circumstance will the original theif who killed Uncle Ben be named or brought to justice by Spiderman(ignore the movie). Doing so would take away something from Spiderman, just as posting a picture of yourself in some instances can take away from your mystique. Crazy, but true.

And I know Cole Tyger no better from his avatar, which he's had since the forum started. Being able to see what he actually looks like would be nice, but honestly I think I rather know him as the guy with the Tiger avatar.
