Just registered today, and I'm glad that this project's still going on. I don't really have much to offer in the way other than following this topic.

Its all original artwork and animations. Of course, the characters themselves aren't original. Nor is some of the clothing: for example, Miki's gingham shirt from the novelization cover is making an appearance in CCR (because it's hawt)



Viperchan is keeping it as authentic to the original as possible with similar art style and coloring to CTR. I've seen quite a bit more than he's shared publicly and its quite impressive. (I'm helping with the story and script.)

Coming along nicely.

Have you tried using Dain-App? It's an application that auto generates in-between frames. Quite useful even when the results aren't perfect.

I generated an additional 5 frames at the tail end of the animation to smooth it out. Pretty fantastic stuff.
