Right, well I might as well post a Dark World Deck that combines the brute power of Raviel and Demise, King of Armageddon. Do you have any advice for that?

Ok, let's take a look at these guys:

Obviously, both of these monsters will take some careful planning in order to summon.  I highly suggest building a deck either around one or the other, as these monsters have effects that conflict with each other.  Raviel is used to GENERATE field presence and help fuel his attack-boosting ability to deadly levels, where Demise is used to DESTROY the field and isolate himself for a direct attack.  That, AND you're wanting to throw in Dark World monsters?  I feel that you're trying to put too much into one deck, and building around TWO difficult-to-summon monsters would be suicidal.  Always keep this in mind.  A good Fiend deck is not impossible though, so I'll give you some advice.

I don't suggest running ritual monsters that much, although there are several good ones, including Demise.  If you decide to run him, you might as well run Ruin, Queen of Oblivion along with him, since they both require the same ritual spell in order to summon.  Also, be sure to include proper support for them (of what little there is...) - Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands is a must, and there are other cards like Samsara and Ritual Foregone that you might could use.

If you go with Raviel, then you'll need to be able to summon him easily.  One way to do this is to put 3 Giant Germs in your deck, and allow one to be destroyed in battle.  You could then use its effect to summon the other two from your deck (provided that they're still in your deck) and increase your field presence.  Treat your Giant Germs as I do with "tutor" monsters - try to get your opponent to use the last attack of their Battle Phase on them in order to bring out the monster you're REALLY trying to summon.  Unless they have some form of removal, then that monster won't be at risk of being destroyed.  You could also use Ultimate Offering to summon more Fiends, or maybe use Scapegoat along with DNA Surgery.

Some other monsters I'd recommend using - Snipe Hunter, Mystic Tomato, Slate Warrior, Dark Ruler Ha Des, Goblin King, Goblin Elite Attack Force, and Dark Necrofear.  I'll try to post some more advice later.  =D

Right, I'm building an End of the World deck revolving around the two badass ritual monsters that share the same spell cards. Any advice on those?

I was actually hoping you'd go the other direction, lol, but that's okay...  ^_^;

Hmm... well, seeing as these guys are Light and Dark, I guess you could go for some sort of Chaos theme with this (I think these ritual monsters were actually modeled after the effects of the Envoy monsters).  Of course, we all know that Chaos is dead (at least, in Advanced), but there are still a lot of legal cards out there that still utilize the whole "remove-from-play" theme (Return from the Different Dimension, Dimension Fusion, the "D.D.'s," Golden Homunculus, Gren Maju Da Eiza, Banisher of the Light, Banisher of the Radiance, Bazoo the Soul Eater, Strike Ninja, Dimensional Rift, Macro Cosmos, etc.)  Other than that, I can't really think of anything that would work well with them, other than using your basic ritual support I mentioned earlier.  I suggest sending me a decklist that I could toy with.  =)

Btw, I heard rumors on Pojo.com that a new ban list is coming soon...  I'll post a link when I find out more.

New ban list for Yugioh, effective March 1...

http://www.upperdeckentertainment.com/yugioh/en/gameplay/forbidden/advanced_current_new.aspx

I only skimmed through it (still got some more homework I need to do...), but it looks like good old Magician of Faith and Breaker are now banned...  ;_;

Also looked up this new Elemental Hero, since he was on there:

Gotta go now... you might wanna revise your deck to suit these changes, LordRyunson.  I'll get to it whenever I have time - sorry, but I've just been bogged down with work lately...  >_<;

Me too. I looked at the banned list and all our hard work on revamping the Insect Deck will be all for naught. Oh well, there's always traditional or fun and friendly games....

Whoa, hold up there man!  Let's take a look at the deck again:

MONSTERS (23):

2 Insect Queen
2 Insect Princess
1 Doom Dozer
1 Mobius the Frost Monarch
3 Pinch Hopper
3 Gokipon
3 Parasite Paracide
2 Man-Eater Bug
2 Chainsaw Insect
2 Prickle Fairy
1 Sangan
1 Magician of Faith

SPELLS (16):

1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Premature Burial
1 Pot of Avarice
1 Lightning Vortex
2 Creature Swap
2 Giant Trunade
1 Scapegoat
2 Magical Mallet
1 Insect Imitation
2 Multiplication of Ants
2 Insect Barrier

TRAPS (6):

1 Magic Cylinder
1 Ring of Destruction
1 Ultimate Offering
1 Call of the Haunted
1 Mirror Force/Sakuretsu Armor
1 Dust Tornado

TOTAL:  45

If memory serves me right (and correct me if I'm wrong), all that you'll need to replace would be the Magician of Faith and one of the Giant Trunades.  Seeing how Snatch Steal became un-banned, you can throw in one of those.  As for the Magician of Faith, you could try putting in that Brain Crusher card, provided it doesn't put too many tribute monsters in your deck... BUT, for this deck, that may be a good thing.  Here, I'll let you in on a situational, yet interesting combo one of my friends came up with:

To me, this combination is shaky at best (it screams "use Heavy Storm on me!"), but it basically allows you to dish out your life points to summon whatever you want (except the special summon only monsters, of course), practically WHENEVER you want, and then gain back half of whatever you paid the next turn.  You could probably find another similar life-gaining card (like Solemn Wishes) instead, but I feel that Life Absorbing Machine would be the most effective.  I tried looking up Spell Economics towards this combo, but it doesn't work, unfortunately... >_<;  Be careful if you use this combo, though - it's extremely vulnerable to S/T removal, and relying on life gain is a poor way to defend yourself, as it doesn't eliminate your threats.  My old chaos deck ran 3 Spell Absorptions and removal from play out the ass, often giving me 20,000+ life!... and on occasion, I'd still lose because my opponent would have a full field of monsters (warrior toolbox, for example - creating attack locks and building up field advantage since nothing could be killed), and I would eventually run out of ways to defend myself.  Direct attack swarm ftl...

Now then, let's look at this fiend deck you made...

Here it is! My Fiend Deck!

---

MONSTERS:
Scarr, Scout of Dark World X3
Demise, King of Armageddon X3
Raviel X2
Archfiend of Gilfer X2
Goldd X2
Zure X3
Brron X3
Beiige X3
Sillva X3
Broww X3

SPELLS:
Graceful Charity
Mystic Plasma Zone
Gateway to Dark World X3
MST
Hammer Shot X2
Snatch Steal
End of The World X3
Tribute To The Doomed
Heavy Storm
Terraforming
Lightning Vortex
Dark World Lightning X3
Card Destruction

TRAPS:
Magic Jammer X2
Torrential Tribute
The Forces of Darkness X3
Call of the Haunted
Rising Energy
Chthonian Polymer
Sakuretsu Armor

That's all she wrote. Post what you think!

57 cards, man.  Ew.  *puts the deck into the Tetsaru de-crappy-ization filter...*

- 3 Demise, King of Armageddon, 1 Raviel, Lord of Phantasms, 2 Archfiend of Gilfer, 3 Zure, Knight of Dark World, 3 Beiige, Vanguard of Dark World, 1 Graceful Charity (it got banned), 1 Mystic Plasma Zone, 2 Hammer Shot, 3 End of the World, 1 Tribute to the Doomed, 1 Terraforming, 1 Dark World Lightning, 2 The Forces of Darkness, 1 Rising Energy, 1 Chthonian Polymer

That takes out 26 cards, putting you at 31.  I suggest adding in some of the following monster cards, based on your preferences:

Snipe Hunter, Mystic Tomato, Slate Warrior, Dark Ruler Ha Des, Goblin King, Goblin Elite Attack Force, Dark Necrofear, Giant Germ

There may be some other good ones I forgot to mention, but those monsters should serve you well.  I also believe that there will be some new Dark World cards coming in the next expansion, Strike of Neos, so keep an eye out for em.

For spells, I suggest these:  Premature Burial, The Puppet Magic of Dark Ruler, Giant Trunade, Smashing Ground, The Cheerful Coffin

Good job putting Card Destruction in there!  However, a nasty thing I learned about Dark World decks is that the monsters will NOT be special summoned if you discarded them as a cost (hence, taking out Tribute to the Doomed, etc... Raigeki Break's better than that, anyway).  Try using The Cheerful Coffin to bring them out instead.

For traps:  Mirror Force, Magic Cylinder, Ring of Destruction.  Staples, staples, staples, my friend.  You can't go wrong with em.

Now then - fiddle around with these suggestions (along with the ones for the Raviel and Demise monsters) and show me what you come up with.  =D

Okay, here's my modified Dark World Deck (It's meant to swarm the opponent with Dark World Monsters, but if you want to take out core choices....) based on your suggestions.

MONSTERS:
Snipe Hunter,
Mystic Tomato,
Slate Warrior,
Dark Ruler Ha Des,
Goblin King,
Goblin Elite Attack Force,
Dark Necrofear,
Giant Germ
Scarr, Scout of Dark World X3
Raviel
Goldd X2
Brron X3
Sillva X3
Broww X3

SPELLS:
Premature Burial,
The Puppet Magic of Dark Ruler,
Giant Trunade,
Smashing Ground,
The Cheerful Coffin
Gateway to Dark World X3
MST
Snatch Steal
Heavy Storm
Lightning Vortex
Dark World Lightning X2
Card Destruction

TRAPS:
Mirror Force,
Magic Cylinder,
Ring of Destruction
Magic Jammer X2
Torrential Tribute
The Forces of Darkness
Call of the Haunted
Sakuretsu Armor

Well here it is. I don't know how many cards is that going to be, but I'm sure my fiends will have a fighting chance one way or another, even without Demise's help.

Oh, and while we're on the discussion of fiends, are there cards to make an Archfiend Deck? Primarly because I can't find it in my own house!

Here's an Archfiend Deck that I remember from the top of my head. It's not much, but it should fit in the advanced format of things.

ARCHFIEND DECK
MONSTERS:
Terrorking Archfiend
Skull Archfiend of Lightning
Summoned Skull
Archfiend Soldier
Pandemonium Watchbear X2
Great Maju Garzett
Vilepawn Archfiend X3
Shadow Knight Archfiend X2
Desrook Archfiend X2
Dark Bishop Archfiend
Infernal Queen Archfiend

SPELLS:
Axe of Despair X2
Falling Down X3
Final Countdown X2
Checkmate X3
Archfiends Oath X3
Pandemonium X2

TRAPS:
Battle Scarred X3
Archfiends Roar X3
Sakuretsu Armor X3

That's all I could remember from a Toywiz Deck that was made several years ago. I'll try to find it during my Spring Break. It should have fourty cards... If only I could remember what else to put in there!

As of today, I found the Archfiend Deck! It was in storage the whole time! I found out that it had two scapegoats, so I replaced one with a third Axe of Despair. Got any ideas on making the archfiend deck, primarly because this deck was made when Scapegoat wasn't restricted.

I'll post the details if you like.
