Everyone plays video games. EVERYONE. Even super ultra hyper advanced busy people like me who work like slaves for a slightly above-average income. This is a thread where we discuss this. Video games we've played, not my job.

GAMES I'VE PLAYED TODAY, SON:

Animal Crossing: Wild World- This is not a video game. This is an addiction. I'll have more on this addiction eventually.

Bully- GTA for people who hate GTA (and alternatively, people who like GTA). This shit is fun. I'm not in an elaborating mood tonight.

Resident Evil 4- The Mercenaries have taken over my life.

I beat Mercenaries, that was hard, but well worth it.

Today I played Final Fantasy VI Advance a lot, it's a REALLY great port with a new translation that makes sense and sticks with what the original plot said, not as confusing, plus the edited names of Espers and stuff are changed to what they're supposed to be. There are still traces of Woolsey in here, but it's not enough to piss me off.

I also played God Hand, which is fucking win.

Mercenaries replay- Being able to airstrike whenever you want with whatever you want is worth it for going through the insanity that is the final mission.

Freespace 2- The last of the great space fighter sims. Everything that was good about the genre was in this game, and the escort missions didn't piss me off.

Gauntlet: Dark Legacy- The best of Gauntlet, without the health leaking.

X-COM: UFO Defense-  This was the height of the tactical combat game.

Just completed Twilight Princess last night. The verdict: better than Wind Waker and Minish Cap, not as good as Ocarina of Time or Link to the Past.
