Title: Had a crazy idea regarding our regular users.
Post by: ROMate on August 25, 2006, 12:14:21 pm: I was looking at the Who's Online under the Shoutbox, and it says there's a hidden user. I went "Hey, a hidden character", and it struck me. Would it be possible to somehow turn the regular members/users into "characters", the way the admin is Speaker of the House and mods are Chief Representatives?

you mean,like change our ID name or our custom title to a character name?

(I just dubbed myself 'the Professor Tomoe of the Forum'...lol)

I think it would lead to confusion since people would then have to think about the dintinction between characters and members.

What we could do is rename the regular users usergroup to character or something similiar. That'd be much easier and more practical than changing each instance of the word 'member'.

Like for example, under your username it says "The Adamant Bakunyuu-Baka Character".

Thats because you haven't gone into your profile and set up your name. or your sig. or your avatar...
