Myself i have a large number of Batman comics now, ranging from Dark Knight, Shadow of the Bat,Robin, and many of the comic books based on Batman The Animated Series,as well as various graphic novels.
My fave Batman villian:
While i have many that i like such as Joker,Penguin,Two-Face and more,my fave is Jervis Tetch/The Mad Hatter. At first,i'd never even heard of him, didn't remember him from the Adam West show at all....then,when I began watching Batman The Animated Series,i saw the episode 'Mad as a Hatter'...and the rest is history.I admired(in an odd way),that Jervis was doing whatever it took to try to win Alice over, even when he became a villian.Batman foiled him,but he came back ready to face Batman some more. Now i've got all the DVD sets of BTAS,(Plus the movies Mask of Phantasm,Sub-Zero and Batman/Superman Movie on DVD)and i've even got the Mad Hatter figure(1 in the package and 1 out...lol).The Hatter is also a boss you face in the Genesis game i have,Adventures of Batman and Robin. The SNES version rocked also, but had different bosses.I also have Batman The Animated Series for Gameboy, that's another great one i like.
My other fave Batman villians:
(No particular order)
Harley Quinn,Poison Ivy,Joker,Penguin,Two-Face,Ra's Al Ghul,Scarecrow,Mr.Freeze,
Ventriloquist/Scarface,Riddler,Lock-Up and Bane.
Special mention:
Derek Powers/Blight and Inque of Batman Beyond.I have the 1st DVD box set of that and the Batman Beyond- Return of Joker DVD.
As far as other Batman DVD's i have Batman (Adam West movie),Batman (Jack Nicholson movie),Batman Returns,Batman Forever,Batman and Robin (Yes,i even liked that one),and Batman Begins.

Yeah,he was pretty neat on BTAS
-
Two-Face, the Riddler (In the suit) and Mr. Fix-it himself, the Penguin.
And Mark Hamil rocked as the Joker.
-
Joker. He played a big part on the Kingdom Come novels. I didn't find out Mark Hamil was doing the voice of Joker until I first got my net and went to imdb and saw him on the credits, lol.
BTW, Heath Ledger's gonna play the Joker on the next Batman film.
-
I hate that Ledger is the new joker. It's so wrong. He just doesn't suit it at all. At least they should find Hamill and let him dub the lines in his old Joker voice. Hamill's performance, for me, is THE Joker.

i quite like harley quinn myself, maybe its because i like the french play "circus maximus" though. i also think talia, ra's' daughter is a great villian. but my all time fav is easily the scarecrow.
-
The Reaper from Year Two, hands down. Baddest ever. Who hasn't "about" killed BM? The Reaper thrashed him so bad... He toyed with him. It was nothing to him.
But, the Reaper did worse than any other, save for maybe the Joker when he killed Robin: He made BM change. BM picked up a handgun and used it for three issues and joind forces with his mother and father's killer! Then, the Reaper robbed BM of his chance for vengance by killing his parent's murderer!
Also, Todd McFarlane did the series, and he is badass.

yeah,she didn't look too bad either....it's like..."okay,you're a goofball but i'll bang you anyways".
lmao!
Though Poison Ivy's voice actress (Diane Pershing) had a good voice.I heard she's a professional novelist.
-
I like the JOKER!
-
Yeah speaking of Poison Ivy, I think thats my biggest dissapointment in that one Batman and Robin movie.
Uma Thurman was Poison Ivy. HOW COULD YOU FUCK THAT MOVIE UP. Hmm...thread idea....

Batman Begins To Apologize For The Last Two Movies =D
-
I'm pretty sure Batman Begins made up for most shitty superhero movies.

the only issue i had with Batman Forever was we had a Two-Face that didn't care about getting back together with his fiancee. That was a pivitol point for awhile in the comic books, and in the comics based on Batman The Animated Series. But that's a script issue, nothing to do with Tommy Lee Jones.
Batman Forever was my fave of the other four movies...if i had to rate them in order...
1. Batman Begins (A new start,YAY!)
2. Batman Forever
3. Batman (Jack Nicholson rocked as Joker!)
4. Batman Returns
5. Batman and Robin

Personally I will put Batman Begins and Batman on the same level, both were good movies.
I do have a complaint with Batman Begins on a physics level (God forbid we invoke physics in a superhero movie). The Microwave generator should have not only vaporized the water in the pipes but vaporized all water, including the water in people and animals, and messed up all their electronics. A good demonstration of this is actually in Gundam Seed with the Cyclops System in Alaska.
-
First Batman (not counting the original series movie, ack) was the best - all the sequels went progressively further downhill. Batman Begins has at least reversed the tide, though its still not as good as the 1989 movie.
Microwaves agitate water - they can't directly vaporize it. Water molecules turn from liquid to gas due to friction when they rub together due to microwave radiation. This is why your breakfast burritos remain soft and yummy and not hard as brick.
-
I wouldn't mind being the Mad Hatter in a Batman movie, but they probably wouldn't hire me,even though i have alot of theater experiance...who do you think could play a good Mad Hatter for the movies?
-
i think the guy that played "V" in v for vendetta would rule as mad hatter.
-
Hugo Weaving was that man. He's a talented actor, I could see him doing that one.

Quite right, but still the amount of energy they were dumping into it would have been bad new for most objects that had water in it. Regardless alot of people should have been cooked nicely.

Prometheus. Well, until he was ruined in Batman: Gotham Knights...
Ah, I haven't read Gotham Knights. What did they do to poor old Prometheus in that?
I'm not sure who my favourite Batman villain would be. Possibly the Joker, but his greater appearances are off-set by a mulititude of medicore ones.
I think Two-Face is the most consistently well-written Batman villain though his high-points aren't quite up there with the Joker's ones.
Toss up between those two, I guess.
By the way, importgamer13, have you read any of the new Secret Six series? Mad Hatter's part of the team now, though he hasn't done much so far. But I am pretty sure that he'll do something outstanding before the mini-series ends.
