The first and original voice of Optimus Prime, Peter Cullen, is going to be rolling out as Prime in the Live Action Movie next summer :D

Saw the preview for it with PotC:DMC this weekend.  And I've got a WTF with that.

Now, didn't the Beagle probe crash several years ago?  I would have thought the Decepticons could go from Mars to Earth in a little less than 4 years time.  After all, wasn't one of them a space shuttle?  Pretty sure becuase I had the toy.  And they never went to Mars in the cartoon - I thought they crashed aboard the ark along with the autobots.

I gotta say, 30 seconds into this and I'm already sceptical.

Well from my understanding, there are apparently (for the movie) some of the cybertronian forces that crash landed onto earth and some on the red planet, The 'cons on Mars may be waiting for news from their glorious leader who had taken a task force into the Autobot's ship, which crash landed on Earth.

Secondly that was a teaser for the movie, production technically hadn't started to provide enough spoilers oohs and ahhs for the trailer ^^;

I wonder which of the Transformer Series there going to base this off of. There been a crap load of Transformer remakes since the orignal. & to be honest the majority of them outside of the origanal series has been a joke.

Then the question rises are they going to redo the Cartoon Series yet again after this movie is released?

Its going to be G1 though with some alterations ala Marvel's Ultimates line. Though Prime will have his classic color scheme and voice.

This gives me some hope in the movie.  Now they need to get Frank Welker for Megatron...
