SOME SPOILERS!!
as far as a CG scene,i liked the opening of Resident Evil Outbreak, which showed a different version of William Birikin's assault on the Umbrella soldiers.
As far as actual dialogue,my 2 faves are...
1. Resident Evil 4 Premium Edition for PS2: In 'Seperate Ways',when Ada defeats Krauser, she comments "That's a big thing you've got there..." (Referring to his blade arm....lol
2. David King's entire ending monologue in Outbreak File 2 for PS2: He starts by saying "So the shit hit the fan and the fan finally busted..."

Resident Evil 4.

i don't know if it qualifys as a "favorite" moment, but i do chalk it up to how well the game was built
RE2, when your in the hall at the back of the cop shop. when the zombies come crashing through the windows at you.
it doesn't matter how many times i play the damn game, i STILL jump at that point.
it's got to give them a warm fuzzy to know that they can still make you jump, even when you know it's coming
-
Well some of my favorite moments is..........
-Resident evil Outbreak File 2 when you first see the elephant jump out at you that scared the hell out of me
-When you first fight Ax Man in the hospital scenario
-The Remake of Resident Evil when you fight your first Crimson Head Zombie, does our impossible to beat

For me,that 'Jump' moment is in the remake of Resident Evil remake for Gamecube, when the first zombie dog jumps through the window to get you...makes me jump EVERY time...lol
As far as battles that i always look forward to,i'd have to say there's a few...
1. Wesker's battle with Alexia in Code Veronica X's Battle Mode on PS2.
2. My team VS. Nyx at the end of Outbreak File 2 on PS2. (Alot of times,i run an offline team of Umbrella soldiers/scientists)
3. Jill/Chris VS. the Wesker Zombie and Golden Tyrant in Resident Evil's Battle Mode on Sega Saturn.

Seeing Nemesis come after you for the first time in Resident Evil 3 made the game for me.

I think it was Yoko Matsugane Lover. >_>

Wait...this HASN'T been in my forum!? I'm not really a big fan of Resident Evil, so I never bothered to check this thread, but I always figured it was in Revenge of the D-Pad. I'll move it.

I forget the specifics of it, but I believe that in Resident Evil 1 there was a very useful item that could only be obtained by turning off the lights in a trophy room. I still don't know why, but I was more scared there than anywhere else in the game, or any Resident Evil game since.
Then again, maybe Silent Hill spoiled me for the later ones.

No too much in Resident Evil scares me.For that matter, movies like Friday the 13th,Halloween or Land of the Dead don't scare me much either.I never got into Silent Hill,so i don't know if that series would scare me or not.

My favorite moments in resident evil games is in:
Resedent Evil 1
Espically when Chris Redfield laghing at Wesker Monster (nearly at the end of the game)
And about the scaring moments I think Silent Hill 1 scare me alot
Espically when Harry enter the bathroom at the school then hear someone crying (And nothing happened after that!!!)

If you likes resident evil you would probably like silent hill, the genre is similar but the gameplay is completely differnt, but if you do want to get scared, silent hill will always be more scarier in my opinion.

I've seens pics and descriptions of Silent Hill, but i've just never been interested in the series.I don't go for a game based on it's 'scare' factor.I merely tried Resident Evil 2,and became a fan of that series. It's possible that if i try Silent Hill, that i may like it,but i don't see it happening.None of my friends like the series, and as i said,i have little,if any, interest in it.However,if you like it,that's cool.Everyone's gotta go their own way on things,i guess...
-
I like both series, but Silent Hill's gameplay trumps Resident Evil's unitl RE4, where they finally get rid of that stupid "Walk like you're a tank" control scheme.

Actually,i never had a problem with the old walking scheme on RE,though i agree,RE4's walking was much more fluid.
