I recently became obsessed with everything Angel Blade.
And I have no idea why. o_O
Is this good or bad?!

As long as your obsession isn't a danger to your health, then I don't see what could be bad about it.
Did you know they made Angel Blade Gashapon (http://search.ebay.com//search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=angel+blade+gashapon) figures? I'd like to get some someday. I mostly want the one of Nail, though the others are good too.

They didn't create it... though they are a pathmaker in the field.
Then again Hammer Space is not of Japanese origin either. Tex Avery and other US animation gurus have some claim to creating animated characters pulling hammers, anvils and other brick-a-brack from out of no where.

I dunno. I found those three images on 4chan last year. There are a few Angel Blade doujinshi, though most are very extreme.

Not really. It's more like a super hero show. If I'd have to compare it to something I'd say it reminds me of Kekko Kamen by the proportional amount of nudity and action.

Speaking of Angel Blade, doesn't one of the DVDs come out this month?
I forgot which they were on, Angel Blade Episode 3 or if they were ready to release Angel Blade Punish.
Speaking of Angel Blade Episode 3, did you know that there were two versions of it released in Japan?
One had an extra lesbian scene of Nail and Angel Blade that wasn't in the original. Somebody asked about it on another forum last month, so I made a clip of the scene and uploaded it to rapidshare:

I wonder which version the US got I saw Angel Blade Returns in stores and noted that Punish is on the lists stated at 90 minutes.

Thought I'd bump this rather than make a new thread.
I didn't love Angel Blade to death, but I just really enjoyed the character designs, so much I've ordered Angel Blade Punish (sequel that just came out a few weeks ago).
It honestly looks good, but who knows.

Not really my thing, but I still find the series kind of interesting. And from what I've heard Punish doesn't have as much as that stuff.
I'm just glad they put all 3 episodes on Punish, instead of two with the original Angel Blade then released Angel Blade Returns with one real episode.

both of the angel blade series were pretty good, imo (angel blade punish only had 3 episodes like the last one, right??), better than most hentai i've seen. being a fan of lactation, though, i just wish they had done a little more involving it with that Mistress Phantom Lady chick... dem's some BIG nipples... almost big enough to fuck if you were into that sorta thing... O_o;

If anything, blame Japan. They probably were being slow in releasing the third episode when it was licensed in the US. That or it was a ploy to foil Japanese who wanted uncensored Angel Blade =/
