Title: Viper GTB
Post by: Hyperguy on February 14, 2006, 11:11:55 am
Howdy.

It's about time Viper GTB's had it's own thread.  There's a few threads on Viper GTB here and there already, but they're not comprehensive for the most part.

Though I might add, this post by JG is very informative on GTB's endings. (http://www.sognadigitalmuseum.com/forum/index.php/topic,109.msg913.html#msg913)

Anywho, Shinjai wanted to know how to get scene 8 and scene 15 in Viper GTB.

In order to get scene 8, after Akira wakes up and after you fight Tarma, you have to visit the Northwest portion of Tarma's ship before encountering Narsha.  You'll go to a door and after you enter it, Harmoni will appear and capture Akira.  He'll then inject her with a drug that gives her octopus dna, and Tarma then fists her to confirm the change.

For scene 15, in the last scene of Viper GTB when you fight Tarma, lose to Tarma and he'll make Makoto and Akira fight each other.  Lose to Makoto, and Makoto will go on to be Tarma's slave, unlocking scene 15.

Thanks for the info. Now to go through the other Viper games! Hopefully I can actually figure out the multiple endings ones.

Best damned GTB walkthrough you've ever seen (http://www.sognadigitalmuseum.com/walkthroughs/gtb/1.html)
Can't be 100% sure on some of the translation, but it's awfully close. (And even if its wrong, you wouldn't know the difference, would you?)

By the way, that's a preview of the kind of stuff you'll see on my Sogna/VIPER website someday, whenever I get it finished.
And no, I don't have any other walkthroughs finished like this one.

Is GTB seriously over a GB big?

I remember seeing it for that much on some site.

Its 2 CDs. One has the loader, game and SGS (graphics+voice) data and MIDI audio, the other has only a loader and CDDA tracks. CD2 isn't really required. (I personally prefer the MIDI anyhow.)

Does anyone know where I can find GTB animations?  Not being able to find this one is driving me nuts.

Some people have been working on making them here, but since the game is so huge it's taken quite awhile.

I didn't know there was more than one in GTB.  I'm looking for animations with the waitress characters, especially the dark haired one.

Sweet thanks.  I'm a little confused though, aren't the gifs from GT1, or am I getting them mixed up?
