I am a huge fan of Carrera but unfortunatly I suck at translation so please is there anyone out there with an english text file or something similar for the text in The Devil Came from Viper V6 ???

I can translate a line or two for you, but to my knowledge no one has translated the entire thing yet.

I was wondering because there was the V6 english translation project , I think its been canceled because there is no update since almost a year, but maybe the translation has been made and just the programming was missing . It's only speculation.

Oh seriously... damn.. I think it was HG that was on the translation part, maybe he have did good part of it, since he is a fan of Carrera he maybe translated the part of The Devil Came ... I hope I can find someone or maybe someone that can get me a text file in japanese it will be a start.. I am looking desperate :( But there is still hope !

I can be patient, if someone can extract the japanese text (not in romanji) maybe I could find someone to translate it but without a txt files it will be hard to share it. And if I find someone to translate it I will share it with you guys , but thats only in the case that there is no one that want to translate it on that forum, like golden as once said , if we don't do this no one will ever do it.
We understand the story, the image are fine but the text can add even more awesomenes to this story!
It's a shame that I am not skill in foreign language :S
and I am sure there are others like me that want it to enjoy even more The Devil Came!!

Here you go. All the game text extracted from the WIN file.
Plop the text into Google translate if you want a cheap translation. You may want to cleanup the \n and \t escapes first though.

No question it would be a nice bonus for everyone, but Viper translation just doesn't seem to be high enough on anyone's list of priorities at the moment. Even if you're good with Japanese, this much transcribing takes a while, and the ratio of time spent to payoff doesn't necessarily balance out for something like this, unless the translator has a ton of free time or is getting paid...
There's a thought. Donations for translations? Raise a hundred bucks or so and JG00 takes a day off for it? Good translation work is actually a valued commodity, so it should work that way rather than asking people to do it for free. That could work, assuming enough people are on board. I'd probably pitch in 10 myself, except I'm actually not convinced that many members are even around to contribute.

Translations are better off though with one person in charge, and not a collective.

I'd rather you all spent your money at the Sogna Digital Museum For Sale page, which would do more to encourage me to work on VIPER-related tasks.
Actually, if I had the time to finish SGS Studio, one of the features we'd have would be the ability to convert a plain WIN file to one that supports external text files. The Japanese games are plain, with the text intermingled with the WIN code, but the European versions use external text files that it swaps out to use whichever language you want. As you can see from the attachment above I can extract the game text easily now, but don't have a conversion function yet. Creating one would greatly simplify translation purposes, and once I had such an ability I could then focus on creating translated versions.
Releasing SGS Studio along with finishing the character bios for SDM were two of my original goals for the year, but I'm well behind on both.

Thanks for the files !, I did as you told, I removed the \n and the \t even some \^
after that I paste it into google translate, I realiza that there was Kanji lines that I didn't remmebered in the game so I erased them and after that I paste each line one at a time in the translator. And this is the result. The sentence are not all in the good way and even some of them are not all translate there is some romanji, and some word dont make sense in a contextual way so , is there anyone that can look at it and correct it the best you can.

Because, if I remember well, when you play the games there is not kanji in the convesation between Ogawa and Carrera, maybe they have another purposes but the first step that I did was to translate the conversation, is there mising something ? I can by mistaking my memory is not a perfect one ^^'
and the google translator don't seem to be able to translate them. it can translate it from chinese to english but not from japanese.

I think the board garbled the file. Looks like it took a perfectly good Unicode file (with BOM no less) and treated it as UTF-8. This cuased it to convert a number of lines to look like Kanji garbage.
Granted, I probably should have checked it after uploading.
Try this one instead.

Okay I have restart the translation with the monologue , there is five line that I will need someone who know japanese to look at because the translator don't seem to be able to make sense with them and on this file there are two line with the word For example but I don't think it matches so a little help with that one too, but only when you will have the time for it I'm not in haste ^^

Alright I have put the untranslated lines with the translated ones.
I tried translating this:
俺のことを女にモテないだのスポーツができないだの金持っていないだの頭がクラッシュしてるだの気持ち悪いだの和田勉に似てるだのえ～と、あと何があったっけ・・・あ、まぁ、そんなことはどうでもいいんだ。
and it gave this:

I cannot make a sense with it :(

there's a bunch of (だの) "and"s in that sentance, probably breaking your translator.
if you break them up into smaller portions..
you get something like this, assuming he's talking about himself..

What happened after ... ah.. that didn't really matter.
you can probably replace those "and"s with commas, and rewrite some of the sentences.
also I'm not 100% on the translations, I could be wrong.

The ったっけ translate into ? Because it is often used so It will save me some time to know in what it translate the translator say "Was Kke" so thanks for you help ^^ really appreciated

Do you mean "あったっけ"? That means warmly or mildly hot.
Given the context I think I beleive its referring to his body temperature, i.e. he became mad.

How angry I felt after that... Ah, but, it doesn't really matter now.

Ogawa's looking through a book of dark magic spells and can't find the one he wants. He comes across two that aren't (the a no kutara and pipiruma ones), then looks in the index for Devil and can't find it there either.
"Nerina 33 Mo 22-39????....”
This is some of P-Warrior's humor in action. Ogawa flipped to a page were someone had written a personal lonely hearts ad, which basically translates to "Nerima, age 33, looking for someone 22 to 39".
"Oh, right! I just have to look at the manual!"
'Manual' should be translated as table of contents or index here, which are contextually more correct.
