Title: Sogna PC98 games
Post by: Asukachan on February 28, 2011, 02:18:16 am
I wasn't sure if I should put this here or the PC98 forum, but since its related to Sogna I thought I'd put it here. My question is dose anyone have the Original Viper Guynarock and the sequal as well as those reserve games? My other question is did those games actually have any animation in them? Thanks

I got this, does it help?

Sadly, I have no e-copy of the original game.  I can help you with the Minimum version, GR 2, and the first two Reserve games though.  I also have real copies of Vision but no e-copies.  Hopefully someone else here can fill in the gaps.

None of them are animated.  They didn't introduce that until Animahjong.

Guyna-rock 1 - see above picture :smalltran
Guyna-rock Minimum (http://www.jonathandgriffith.com/files/forum/guyna-rock_minimum_pc98.rar)
Guyna-rock 2 diskettes (http://www.jonathandgriffith.com/files/forum/guyna-rock_2_pc98.rar) (and an HDI version (http://www.jonathandgriffith.com/files/forum/Guyna-rock2.zip))
Reserve (http://www.jonathandgriffith.com/files/forum/reserve_pc98.rar)
Reserve 1/2 (http://www.jonathandgriffith.com/files/forum/reserve_half_pc98.rar)
Reserve 2 - don't have
Vision - don't have e-copy
Vision 2 - don't have e-copy
Brocken - don't have e-copy - will give many rep points to someone who supplies this

If someone knows *exactly* how to make an FDI file from a diskette image, I can do Vision 1 and Brocken, as I have 3.5" diskette versions of those.  I've tried it in DiskExplorer but get diskette drive read errors. (There's a chance it only works in pre-NT versions of Windows like Win98)

Was wondering if you also had the PC98 Version of CTR. If you do, I don't really need it right away as I know your working hard to fix the Sogna Digital Museum problem.
