I went on and did a new picture. But no animation this time... (it would have been way too much work).

It is sort of strange that I did my first still image after doing my first (http://www.sognadigitalmuseum.com/forum/index.php/topic,1837.0.html) and second (http://www.sognadigitalmuseum.com/forum/index.php/topic,2155.0.html) animated gifs. I suppose I should confess that I planned on animating this and then remember how long it took me to do the other stuff and surrendered.
It is a lot easier to get better artwork if you don't have to animate the image. Oh well... hope yo guys enjoy this seeing how Magelord never came back and delighted us with more of his excellent work. :(

Thanks! But in this case I practically cheated with her hair. With Julietta I had to work more with my imagination... but in this image Cala is very similar to a frame from one of the existing gifs.
But the end image is what matters... as long as it looks good...
What did you guys like more? The gifs or this still image?
I think this image is better (the drawing is better)... but... it's not animated. Animation is... eh.. cool. :)
