How many of you admit to playing this game? Or any other puzzle game for that matter? >_>;
-
Like alot of things around here , it's an inside joke. (Fried Chicken!)
I made the comment that some of us don't like fighting games, so HG changed the board name to make people like me feel more welcome, becuase frankly, I don't care if your favorite fighter can do a 720 degree spinning piledrive chokeslam if you press a half hundred buttons in the right order: Pac-Man still devours all.
-
Pac-Man still devours all.
That is very true.
I honestly don't get half of the inside jokes around here, but I'm ok with that. ^^;; I rarely get jokes as is and often need things explained to me. I'm just hoping that the people here won't get too annoyed with that. D:
Drats, and here I was, all excited about the thought that there were other tetris lovers.... ;-;

I got Pac-man FEVER!

That board-game thing on PS1? That game sucked. It was like Mario Party with Down's Syndrome.
Tetris, however, is boss and remains one of my many on again, off again obsessions.

Actually I was refering to the song that was a spoof of cat scratch fever. Now you made the bad memories resurface again =(
-
Because even us regular folk can do Pac-Man (http://www.jonathandgriffith.com/files/forum/pacman.zip)

OH snap, Java Pac-Man.
-
I just go to this one forum to play both pac-man and tetris. Unless we are on a roadtrip. Then I nick my gameboy back from my lil bro and put on tetris.

Old Gameboy Tetris with the link cable is awesome. I thought people were kidding when they said Mario and Luigi were in the game.
o.o Icy comes to haunt Captain.
I sure hope there's some other Captain I don't know about.
-
She means Hyperguy. She chased him here from another site.
-
Oh. I thought he was a Lieutenant. Or just a Guy.

;3 Hey baby, I can haunt you too if you want. <3

Tetris brings back good memories, as does the PAC, but my favorite sweetie to get my brain juices flowing and my controller fingers twitching is the ever heart-warming Puzzle-Bobble franchise. I could literally play for hours on a single credit at the local arcade's Neo geo machine. These days, when I warm up the old cart for some Bubbly goodness, I still school the competition and pull off mad pops and drops.
:r

Hey, Icysnowgirl is fine with me, as long as no-one from OMGJeremy comes here to haunt my ass I'm fine with it.
Also Tetris is beautiful. I mean sit and think about it for a second.
The Blocks...are Capitilism. And when you line everything up just right and stack it a certain way...
IT COMES CRASHING DOWN.
However, if Capitilism reaches its peak, we are lost and we get game over because now we have private owned business properties and whatnot.

My mom used to spend a good two hours a night playing Tetris when I was a kid. The TV and NES were in her room until I finished elementary school.
I'm not very good at puzzle games. My reactions are crap and I don't have the required kind of brain. 'course, I hardly play fighters, or really any game involving reflexes. Just RPGs, because I win through sheer force of math. That always makes me feel better, that my lack of ability still allowed me to accomplish something.
I'm probably just being overly harsh. I have a tendency to do that to myself.
-
I've got the retarded brain AND shit math. So I play fighters. xD
-
Was that an insult?
-
sounded more like an excuse, actually

Oh, man. That one's new to me. I love it. I've just become a much bigger Tetris fan.

That sounds like my dad and the PS1 verison of HM. Dear gods, he obsesses over that game, planning every thing out mathimathically to the point it is down right creepy.
Most of my puzzle games I play by luck and what feels right. My dad will do planning. So, whenever he does a monster combo and totally kills me, he is smug. Whenever I do it, I'm surprised. xD
-
No creepy was me and my old roomate Clint spending 4 hours rolling characters for Baulder's Gate until we got that 1 in a million chance roll where the character got 18 in every stat. I tell you it was madness.
-
18 in all stats?! Your fucking psycho.
Also. A Terresque approachs. what do you do?
-
Tell it to grab a madazine and have a seat. Apparently it's gonna be waiting for a bit while teh big Unit wraps up his character.
-
Try 1 in 101,559,956,668,416. Yes, thats 1 in 101 trillion
Thats the odds of rolling 6s 18 times in a row to make 6 stats of 18.
-
Its probably a little better odds than that since we never saw it roll under a 6. Also about that approaching Tarasque, I tell it that if bitch come steppin he's gonna get knocked out. Jive ass Tarasque ain't got no brains anyhow.
