I was cleaning out several old and unused databases last night and accidently deleted the Congress of Awesome's database(Hatemail>>hyperguy.net@gmail.com).
I didn't have a backup. D:
Needless to say, I died a little on the inside.
Then I contacted our server god and asked him if there was anyway they could undelete it, or if they had a backup.
The fact that they had a backup is the reason why you're able to read this right now. In short, I loaded a backup of the forum from yesterday, and then I made a backup of that.
So the forum's backed up in case anything else happens, and I just wanna say I'm sorry. We probably lost maybe 3-4 shoutbox entries from yesterday and 2-3 posts.
Oddly enough, I did save a page of the Congress of Awesome blog topic after I learned what had went down and while it was still on my browser:

(There's those shoutbox posts! I've got to admit, it would be weird to ask everyone to post the exact same things they posted yesterday.)

I thought I had traveled back in time for a minute there....

My posts were lost in the space warp! I demand satisfaction!

So, shouldn't your custom tagline be "mySQL Connection: FAILED" now?
-
Careful you guys, you don't want to screw up the time-space continuum....

Everything should be okay unless you run into yourself again. Then watch out bad things can happen.

But- but- my users expect me to be everywhere! And now I'm in the future. And now I am again. And again! Ahhh!! I'm infinitely doomed!!
