I think that would be more a figurine/idol to the pron god situation.... which can lead to things.

Dunno, I just got the e-mail from NIS:

The wait is almost over! We are happy to announce that the Prinny Plushy will become available for purchase at the NIS America Online Store on November 11, 2005. This is the latest item to be added to the online store from Pram's Wish List . The Prinny Plushy measures 8.5h in height, and comes with a removable pouch that you can open up and put things in. Please stay tuned. We'll have more details coming soon.

I just got an e-mail from NIS America saying not to worry about the first shipment of prinnies.

Apparently, they're not broken.  But!  You can adjust their eyes to make them either happy or sad:
