- I think she did business with him before... I *think* when Miki saw Captian's sex tape.. she sold it to them.. (not 100% sure on this, probably not true, im just assuming this)
- either that, or he's just a stalker, whose been stalking her since she arrived in town.
- That guy wanted Miki so bad, that if he couldn't have her, he'd make a sex tape of her instead, and he planned to distribute the tape uncensored and uncut.

I think this is whats going on, because i think she mentions something about a stalker, in a morning scene.
Unless I'm translating these scenes wrong. I'm not very confident with my translations, I'll have to look them over again.
Because I didn't translate the whole game yet... I only translated certain parts
Once we get the CTR novel, we can probably clear up more of whats going on.

I got my CTR novel the other day and have roughly self-translated the parts that seem different from the game or seem to explain things better. So I'll do the best I can answering these questions now.
- Miki and Osamu seem to have a prior relationship. One of Miki's conversations with Captain revolves around her recounting a bad relationship she had in the past about a very self-centered guy who is now stalking her. She doesn't name Osamu but I think the reader's meant to make the connection when he shows up at the end. They are pictured chatting together in an earlier chapter that takes place between the V10 and CTR stories. Asuka takes note of their vacuous conversation as she passes them (she doesn't know Miki yet) and wonders if that's how boyfriends and girlfriends talk to each other.
- I'm pretty sure Osamu stole the video camera with Captain and Asuka's sex tape still in it. He apparently found out where Miki was staying, broke in to find her (this is when she and Captain are out shopping), and took the camera instead. When he founds out what's on it he assumes Miki is into that sort of thing and seeks her out again. I think he wants to add some Miki scenes to the tape and then sell it with both girls on it.
- Takesi doesn't seem to be the asshole that he appears in the game. He's still not very trusting of Captain's intentions, but he seems more distant than smug in the book. Must have been the way Katsura-san drew him.
- Asuka is 17 now. Both the V10 and CTR stories happen at this age, 3 months apart. Never says how old the other characters are, only that the Marukome's are younger than Asuka, and Miki is younger than Captain.
- The other girl from the novel, Shiori, is a character from Asuka's past. When Asuka was eight, Shiori (16) was her hero. Asuka wanted to be just like her so that's why she took up kendo when she turned 16. (Thus, she was at the kendo club a year before Captain comes along.) However, a gang (much like Osamu's but clearly not the same one) rapes her and forces Asuka to watch, which makes her very untrusting of men later on, which is why she seems so meanspirited at the beginning of V10.
- Asuka and Captain sure do alot of walking along that road. Seems like every conversation they have they're walking along that road. Dude needs to get a two seater or a sidecar or something.
- The red checkered top Miki wears on the cover really is that hot.

I'm such a lurker and probably gonna get shot for bringing up an old topic but since samandmax88 never clarified it and I'm interested in it as well, I'd like to know what Miki and Takesi talk about after he rescues her, in the game since it's the one I'm more familiar with. Translations of the dialog would be greatly appreciated if anyone has them, going from them walking down the street to the end of the game (Her finger wiggle to him at the very end is so sexy but i have no idea what the hell they are talking about!)
Also a few other questions, what is Miki teasing Takesi about after you beat him in the match (or he lets you win? I read on an older post he injured his hand?). I get that Asuka was more or less a betting piece in a match between the two guys but I get confused around the part at night time when you talk with Takesi, correct me where I'm wrong on this please.
From what I understand Miki gets raped the same night you talk to Takesi. Because you held him up for a bit he's able to stop the gang and hooks up with Miki that night (and she talks him into letting you win since he'll have Miki and won't be able to date Asuka?) The following day Miki comes back home and you talk to her briefly (the player doesn't know at this point what happened to her the previous night) before going to the rematch that you win. You and Asuka are reunited, Miki and Takesi say a few things (letting you know the fight was thrown, or you own becase Takesi was injured?) and that's it.

Ok here's the deal with Takesi:
He's the captain of Asuka's school's kendo club (Asuka goes to a different school than "our" Captain) He's heard how Asuka is "forced" to date Captain becuase she lost to him in a match and he wants to "free" her by beating Captain. Takeshi isn't interested in taking Asuka for his own, just freeing her from servitude.
Of course, he later founds out that Asuka really does like Captain, so he throws the fight so they can stay together, and he hurts his hand in the process. Miki suspects he lost on purpose.
After he rescues Miki from Osamu's gang, he offers to take her home but she wants to go to a hotel to take a shower first. When she's done (sits on the bed), she says she feels much better all cleaned off now, and he asks if she's ready to go home. She says there's a way she can repay him for saving her first (the kiss scene and implied sex.)
As she's redressing she tells him she knows he lost the match against Captain on purpose, especially since he got hurt in the process. He says he only did it becuase it was the right thing to do and hoped it would impress Miki. She thinks that was very nice of him. He says he didn't think she had any interest in him. When she's waving her finger at him she says that was an illusion.
She's such a tease.

Thanks JG00 this clears most of it up there's just a few things I'm not sure on based on how you explained things.
I thought the Miki rape/rescue night happened during the main game, not after Takesi throws the fight. During the final kendo match scene Miki is wearing a white shirt i think and sunglasses in her hair (that look a lot like Osamu's). Then the scene afterward she's back in her red jacket outfit. So she just changed outfits and wore the red jacket outfit on two seperate days in the game?
There's also the scene of Captin talking to Miki when she's holding the jacket tight to her body before the final kendo match(to hide that her shirt under it was destroyed), this happens in both the good and bad endings (she doesn't get pissed at you in the good ending but still acts kinda funny). And then later on in that day she changed into her white shirt and sunglasses outfit to see the final match.
I can understand if Miki just likes her jacket outfit and wears it often, but the conversation between captin and Miki is what's throwing me off and making me think the rape scene is a flashback rather than events after the main game. Then I can i can't read the writing while you can.
Either way this clears up a good deal of confusion, thank you.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The visuals all seem to suggest the Miki rape is a flashback to what happened while Captain was appealing to Asuka outside her door on the night after the first Takesi match, but the dialogue in the very last scene suggests the second match already happened. Is it possible that last conversation constitutes a plan for the next day rather than a recap of the previous one?
What if...everything from after the credits to Miki's towel falling open were the flashback, and the cut to Miki getting dressed was actually from the night after the second match, meaning Miki and Takesi hooked up at least twice since the rape? That plausible?
Otherwise, I wouldn't know how to explain those shots of Miki holding her jacket closed the morning after the "Asuka's door" scene.

Yeah I'm wondering about what Rai said as well either one sounds plausable, also is it possible Takesi actually injured his hand when he attacked osamu's gang? JG00 said Miki clearly mentioned Takesi injured himself, I don't think he'd plan to injure his hand for a thrown match, but if they decided 'I'm going to throw the match, blame it on this injury i just got' I could understand that.
The double hookup I'm not sure on since the room I don't think ever changes and I don't see them going to a hotel twice, but it's possible. Really I think there's a bit of dialog we don't have translated right.

I'm actually wondering if anyone has translated the actual rape scene in CTR. I've been trying to (without any knowledge of Japanese and using online translation websites and guess work) but, of course, I can't come up with most of the translations. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated, I have uploaded a word document of my work on this here:

Yeah, you gotta be careful of those Japanese OCRs, sometimes they put in wrong characters, especially when dealing with some of the more complex kanji characters.
I'm always hunting for kanji radicals when my OCR messes up.
This is just a quick text grab, couldn't get the names in front without manual entering it myself,
as the names are stored as hex values (i.e, 01, 02, 03 ..etc) rather than actual names.
Now you'll have an easier time translating... i'll get to some translations later

One of my SGS Studio tools (boy I'd like to have the time to finish that) extracts game text and supplements the name escapes with the actual names. Its the first half of a larger tool meant to convert the use of in-WIN game text with the use of Interntional version text files, so we can have English versions of games. I'ts much easier to translate these files than go through the WIN code line-by-line.

When they scream "iya", it basically means "no!". I think Miki's saying something like "N-no! What are you--!?" as she realizes what's about to happen.

"Uruse" pretty much means "shut up". Not sure about the second word, but it sounds like he's slurring something along the lines of "shut up and take it".

I'm not really sure if that's what this is supposed to mean. It was the best translation I could make out of it, but it doesn't really seem to fit the conversation exactly. Google translate came up with this:
"Let say I'm only this enthusiastic, I'll become a woman of loose."
But since this is Osamu talking he's obviously not saying that he'll become a loose woman.

This part seems a little weird to me. This is when Osamu is listening or watching the video of Captain and Asuka. The reason is mostly because of Miki's reply. It seems more likely that she's saying "What are you planning" or "What are you going to do?" Also Osamu's reply doesn't seem right. I think it may be something more along the lines of "Don't you know?" But I can't figure out the second part.

This part just confuses me. Osamu seems to be telling the guy not to cum inside Miki, but the translation just seems a little weird. Even when the words are changed for the alternatives that they could be translated into, this still doesn't seem to come out as a clear statement.
