I working on constructing a coherent world to set D&D campaigns in. Currently working out the astronomical information such as orbital parameters for the planets and moons and what their apparent magnitude would be.I feel the D&D pain, sir.

Midgar was the only tolerable part of the game, before you get in the whole "chase Sephiroth around the globe" mode. I've made my points on FF7 before and won't repeat them here. I wish there was more to do in Midgar, once you gain the ability to return there, though. Possibilities untapped are staples of the FF series, though.

yeah...so far everything the PCs have found consists of a spider-infested forest, which almost got half of them killed due to setting the forest on FIRE to burn down the webs.

Yeah we are being more ambitious in our D&D world as we would like to create one with an extensive history, social structure, and what not.
I have to make a couple of social structures, including one for lizardfolk who live in massive ziggurats. Because ziggurats and lizardfolk are awesome. Especially when most of them are crafting hella constructs.
and cala wouldn't be negative, because it's x-cala, and cala is the x coordinate, and w/e all I know is that usually in graphs the x coordinate of a point is expressed via (x - coordinate) if the coordinate is positive, making cala positive.
