Call EBGames. (http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=280289) They seem to know more than you.

It's out. I saw this at my local EBgames.
But you know what? After being burned out on XX, Reload, and Isuka, I'm not sure if I want to pick this up just for two extra characters.
-
I got it. It's different from the other GGs. And who knows, with that blasted Overture this might (most likely won't) be the last fighting GG game =p
-
DO WANT. I'm so raiding my Gamestop this weekend.
-
Okay, so how much better is Accent Core than the previous GGs, and why? I'm sorry, but I'm having trouble getting excited about a new Guilty Gear after going from Midnight Carnival to Reloaded to RoboKy Edition to Isuka(which to this day felt kind of mediocre).
Is this a big jump, the way Street Fighter 2: Turbo was over the original?
-
Yes. There are 3 new additions to the game mechanic and everyone has an updated move list with at least one new special move.
Force Breaks allow you to perform certain moves in ways you couldn't before (i.e., Aerial Potemkin Buster) at the cost of 25% Tension, opening all manner of new combo possibilities. You can now break throws, so they're not the guaranteed damage they once were. Slashbacks...I'm still not sure what they do. I'm working those out now.
Plus, we get 2 new characters. We got A.B.A. (technically a returning character, but this is her first time in the traditional 1 on 1 format of Guilty Gear) and Order-Sol. A.B.A. has only 3 blood packs per round for transformations and the like, plus her Moroha Mode now comes with a gauge (similar to Eddie). Order-Sol is totally new (as opposed to being Sol Badguy v.2). He's got his own mechanic (a guard gauge) that alters his special moves. He's apparently diesel as hell, so I'll need to try him out at some point.

And, perhaps most famously, is a 10-hit Overdrive with a tricky 10 button input like Geese Howard's Deadly Rave that ends with an attack that's unmistakably regular Sol's IK.
In a digression: at the end of the combo is a glimpse at his Gear form...which looks a bit like Dizzy's "Big Black Demon" form during her pre-battle sequences in GGX and when she uses her EX version of the Imperial Ray, except his overall look is more "sharp" looking, since his wings are more triangular whereas Dizzy's are more curved. Makes me kinda curious behind what's with those forms, could it be that (powerful) Gears look like black demons, and the only reason Justice looks like a mech is because she's really wearing armor? [I use "powerful" because in that small GGX clip features the scene where Baiken sees That Man and a bunch of what apparently are grunt-style Gears, which looks like Frankenstein rejects or something]

Gah, didn't notice there was a specific topic on this game, so I posted in the sticky thread... >_<
Anyway, I'm thinking about getting this game for the Wii when it comes out. I don't know much about the series, though... it just looks like an awesome fighting game to play, at least until Brawl comes out. :3

Honestly, I'd rather all GG discussion was put in the sticky anyway, to save some time/space and make GG knowledge that much easier to attain, so good job Tetsaru on posting there first.
Definitely get and play this regardless of Brawl's release date! Smash Bros. isn't really a fighting game in the way Guilty Gear is a fighting game; they're two entirely separate experiences.
