ITT we post what music we are listening to! This will provide a lovely insight into the tastes of CoA members, and serve as a great guide to perhaps some new music to check out in the future!
The format is as follows
Artist - Album - Song
or just Artist - Song if you don't know the album .
Or if you don't know the artist, maybe someone else will! Oh this will be great fun!
I'll start us off.
Now Playing: Kinya Kotani - Gravitation Vocal Collection - Abracadabra
You know, it has nothing to do with Gravitation, but it was on there as one of many bonus tracks that he made NOT from the series. It's really good stuff, kind of a neat techno rock, and Kinya's voice is excellent. I highly recommend his stuff.
-
Right now I'm juggling...
The Elite Beat Agents soundtrack (Downloaded from Galbadia Hotel)
Those Viper BTR bonus tracks JG uploaded as an exclusive a while back
Gel's(from Herv) It's a Song-Remix version. (I mixed this one myself. It's silly dope fresh. Vocals by Gel.)
-
For me, Rising Force, the new SRW:Divine wars OP Song
The Winner and Men of Destiny, two OP songs from Gundam 0083:Stardust Memory
Apart from that, a number of gundam songs randomly
-
I've been listening to the Shadow of the Colossus soundtrack a lot. Otherwise, it's the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
-
I'm currently listening to Massive Attack's classic piece, Unfinished Sympathy, from the 1991 one "Blue Lines" album.
The song is a beautiful piece that touchs the heart and soul with it's moving lyrics, beautiful string arrangements, and hypnotising beats, combining elements of soul, dub, and trip-hop music, to create a definitive sound that is heard throughout the album, and made this what I feel, the best album of 1991.
-
I'm listening to:
Porno Graffiti - Melissa
Ranma 1/2 Soundtrack - Little Date
Crystal King - Ai wo Torimodose Remixed Version
RABBIT - Don't You Know (It's Love)
In short, anime musics.
-
Brisk & Fade - Stepmania - Radio Rockin'
Snappleman - ocremix.org - Break the Silence
Ashane - ocremix.org - Ninja Gaiden 2 Ninjascape OCRemix

Games:
Technosoft: Metal Squad (the original from TFIV OST, the techno remix on the "Best of", and the Broken Thunder version);
the Justice Ray (all 3 parts);
Steel of Destiny (original and Broken Thunder version);
A3 (the Armament Armed Arm boss theme)
Jeremy Soule's "The March Unto Death" from the orginal Total Annihilation
the "Sacred Grove" from Zelda: TP AKA Lost Woods theme (very simple, yet haunting)
the Menu theme from Crusader: No Remorse
NEW: Heretic Mansion ^Shining Heaven^ from Shin Megami Tensei 3 (aka Nocturne); I'm a sucker for grand church organ music (also trying to find a live-organ performance of Dancing Mad part 3, which would sound awesome)
Anime:
Totugeki Love Heart from Macross 7 (listen to him s-i-i-i-i-n-g)
-
the "Sacred Grove" from Zelda: TP AKA Lost Woods theme (very simple, yet haunting)
It's a remix of Saori's Song from OoT.
-
Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan soundtrack
nobodyknows+ - Hero's Come Back
Asian Kung-fu Generation - Hokai Amplifer + Kimi Tsunagi Five M + Fanclub + Sol-fa
Final Fantasy X OST
-
sambomaster
-
Opeth - The Leper Affinity
Part of a 1110-song, 95-hour playlist of death, doom, black, and power metal.
I need more music, though. I haven't gotten any new MP3s in months. Probably because I'm tired of dealing with goddamn DC hubs and waiting three weeks for a slot.
-
Lately Queen and The Dropkick Murphys. Oh, and Dethklok.
-
Black Sabbath: The Hits 1970-1978
For a band that's been around for 37 years, they certainly sound modern. I guess that shows just how far ahead of their time they really were back then. And that's awesome.
-
Takayuki Miyauchi - Kamen Rider Black RX
WAKE UP, THE HERO!
-
Daft Punk BIATCH!
-
Apparently the opening song from the first season of Ranma. And now fate as flung me into Initial D "Heatbeat".
-
Dark Tranquillity - Punish My Heaven
-
Love Letter- Buck Tick
-
My Dying Bride - The Night He Died
-
You know what would make this thread 200% better? If people occaissionally posted links to mp3's of the music they're currently listening to.

I'm currently listening to Disk Masta Smokabitch's Jeuse Belmont song (http://olremix.org/remixes/300). It's a parody song about a Belmont from the Castlevania series who's too late to fight Dracula, so he does things like flipping pancakes and feeling up Medusa instead.
Features a chorus that sings "O rly? Ya rly!x20, No wai!" =D
-
( I can't upload this for I do not have the MP3 ;~; I only got it on my myspace)
Survivalism- NIN
-
I'm currently listening to Liam Eefting (Thatsa me! ^_^) with Mercurius FM's new song, All I Have.

-
i am listening to buck 65's "bachelor of science." (http://www.talkingarm.com/music/16%20-%20bachelor%20of%20science.mp3) it is quite excellent.
-
Wow. Thats a lot of metal guys. I am currently listening to (band - album):
Queens Of The Stone Age - Songs For The Deaf
Oasis - Standing on the Shoulder of Giants
Failure - Fantastic Planet
Slayer - South Of Heaven
Soundgarden - Down On The Upside
I like more rock in my musical diet, but I too used to be a metal head. I traded in all my Cradle Of Filth/Cannibal Corpse/At The Gates cd's shortly after high school. I think after my teenaged angst ran out and I realized it doesn't matter how many solos and riffs you can cram into 4 minutes or more, but how well you can write a song. A well written song transcends time for ages to come. I still put in classic Slayer and dime my stereo cause SLAYER HAS AND ALWAYS WILL KICK YOUR METAL BANDS ASS. Slayer and old Metalica (circa Cliff Burton era).
Good music selections though, guys.
-
Listening to Opera IX's Black Opera album. Current track is 4. Congressus Cum Daemone.
Then I'll be listening to the new Winters Cry album! =D
-
Velvet- alice nine
Here in like...1:35...Rock n' Roll is not Dead - Miyavi
-

Songs about killing your lover. What more could you want?
-
Goatsnake - Junior's Jam
-
Liam Eefting - Psalm of Arcadia (The unmastered unreleased version!) lol
-
Filth in the Beauty- Gazette
-

-
Right now, I'm listening to a bizarre mix of Godsmack, Incubus, Foo Fighters, Korn, Offspring, Rancid, Korn, Queen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Saliva as my Winamp playlist shuffles. This is fun.
-
Basically the whole Girugamesh CD 13's Reborn
-
STILL listening to Heretic Mansion ~Shining Heaven~ from Shin Megami Tensei III
Hepatica (the first and third theme; the vocal and symphonic versions respectively) from Xenosaga Episode III
[trivia: a hepatica is a kind of flower]
Around 19 different versions of the Tetris A theme (IE the most famous theme that is practically synonymous to Tetris); one is a heavy metal version by Powerglove [no joke; included it into the download if you doubt me], while the rest are midi's with a bunch of different instruments on each one.
Fate (XTAL's and NECO's stage's music) from Zero Divide [PSX fighter]
U.N. Owen was her? from Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil (from Touhou Project line of danmaku/manic shooters). This is one very weird song, but very playful and a good audio representation of a mischievous girl.
[trivia: U.N. Owen is a pseudonym pun on "Unknown" like Louis Cypher is to Lucifer or Misty is to "Miss T" and is a reference to the book "Ten Little Niggers"/"Ten Little Indians"/"And Then There Were None;" which is in turn a reference to a rather morbid nursery rhyme]

Oddly enough, Metallica's Death Magnetic. After four or so really bad albums the band found their heavy metal guitars and said, "hey guys, remember these? these are WAY cooler than our COUNTRY guitars!"
Meaning, if you ever liked Metallica, give the album a listen - you might be surprised.

Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. Because I'm lame.
