How can I get Viper V8 V10 and V16 working? I downloaded them from member.lycos.co.uk and I cannot understand the language its in.. It keeps on saying that its not a valid Win32 application.. Help please?

V8, V10, and V16 generally only work from the CD, so burn the files to CD and it might work. There is a also neat trick to copy the GTS.EXE from Viper-GTS into the V8, V10, or V12 (not sure if it works with V16) folder, and run that program instead of V##.EXE or SGS.EXE.

There's also the chance the copies you downloaded from lycos are simply bad files.

why would burning it make a difference?

Because the games were originally designed to be run from a CD.

Or installed form the CD to hard drive, in which case a registry setting makes the exe work.

I would suggest Daemon Tools,just mount the ISO with it(dunno if the torrents are ISO's),done.Next problem would be getting through all the japanese to install,unless you are fluent in that language.

Do you still remember where exactly you downloaded them from? That way, I/someone could check if the files actually work. Or, list the files you have and the file sizes so I/someone can make sure you have all of them. "not a valid Win32 application" doesn't sound pretty.

Do you have Viper GTS? As mentioned earlier, you can use the .exe from that game to run these without burning them.
