ok, for all the newbs and other people who aren't familiar with these by now (or else prefer not to download anime this way), listen up, cuz God and YTF know i had to post this explanation and links to it a gajillion times in the old Bakunyuu Baka forum.
ANIDB.net, or Anime Database, is a site where you can download craploads of different anime series. here's a link to their site:
http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=mainin order to download from their site, you'll need a program called eMule. to get it, go to this page, click the link under "Installer v0.47a," and then select a mirror.
http://www.emule-project.net/home/perl/general.cgi?l=1&rm=downloadafter you've got eMule, go to ANIDB.net and click the "Signup" link (don't worry, it's totally free). after you do that, you'll need to click "myplace" and then "profile," and scroll down and check "show hentai" and "change lay options." doing this should allow you to access any hentai series that you may want to download.
now, after you've done all that, you can go search for whatever series you're looking for. just type in something in the search box, and you should end up with a page or a list of search results related to what you typed. when you find a page related to a specific series, scroll down and you should see a listing of all the episodes available. click the orange + sign at the top to expand all the entries and show the different versions of the episodes that you can download. hover your mouse pointer over the country flags to see which languages the subs and dubs for that episode is (these aren't always accurate, so you may want to download several different versions of the same episodes and see which one you like most). you can also look at other data about the episodes, such as quality, etc. once you find the one you like, click the corresponding link under the "ed2k" column, which looks like a small white box with dotted lines on it (if you're running Firefox, you'll probably get a "external protocol request" warning. if so, just click "launch application."). this should launch eMule.
now, about eMule itself... when it starts up, you should have a list of servers to download from. you'll want to use the one with either the most files or users, so click the corresponding tab to sort them out accordingly, and then double-click the server to download from.
now click the "transfers" button at the top. you should see a list of all the files that you're downloading, along with a number of sources, and a progress bar. if the progress bars are blue, then your downloads should be going okay. if they're red, then there's not any sources to download the file from - either try another server, or find a different version of the file you're trying to download and delete the old one. if everything's going okay, all you gotta do now is... wait. eMule is rather slow, so if you don't like waiting forever, you may just want to stick to using torrent files (although they can also be pretty slow). it may take overnight, or several days, so just be patient and try to leave your computer on if you can.
here's a few other things to be aware of - eMule isn't limited to downloading things from ANIDB.net, oh no. click the "search" button and knock yourself out looking for whatever. also, you can go to "options" and then "directories" to choose where your downloaded files will end up. clicking the "statistics" button lets you view graphs of the performance of your downloads, uploads, and connection, and finally, if you minimize eMule to your taskbar icons, a black bar will appear next to the icon to show how well your downloads are going. other than that, you shouldn't have to worry about anything else.
