Hello gents,
new here.
I was wondering what is a good current Bakunyu-esque anime to look into, maybe along the lines of
grenadier, that is, nice to look at with more story than h content.

You got me, Mr. Eyes. There are some good ones, but not enough. I was going to say hentai, but from my personal expirience, most of these hentais SUCK. I don't mean that in a good way, I mean they SUCK! Only a select few are even good. Until then, let's stick with the fanservice animes like Grenadier. That ruled.

If we consider the actual question, that is "nice to look at with more story than h content..."

Amazing Nurse Nanako is pretty good in terms of story, although there's a lot of content shoved into episode 6 in such a way that makes one's head spin. Oh, and everything is explained in time, so don't feel discouraged by the lack of any explanation.

Also the theme song is a kind of extension to the plot, so be wary of that.

awesome, a good comment about amazing nurse nanako!  you rock, curtmack!  >=D

well, personally i like seeing some action goin' on if i'm watching bakunyuu-type anime, although i have downloaded an episode or two from a few series here and there.  just keep in mind that these are just suggestions - most of this stuff i haven't seen, i just know that there are busty characters in them:

  • amazing nurse nanako
  • gravion zwei
  • magical shopping arcade abenobashi
  • divergence eve
  • dears
  • mouse
  • maburaho
  • mahoromatic
  • this ugly and beautiful world
  • desert punk / sunabouzu

some of these may have a lot of fanservice in em, so be warned.  like i said, these are only suggestions - i have seen VERY LITTLE of most of these series.  maybe some of the other members can elaborate on them.  =/

Amazing Nurse Nanako -  GOOD STUFF :D
Gravion Zwei - It was OKAY... I like the boobies and all, but the story's too convoluted for me. Makes my head hurt.
Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi - Never saw the anime, but I read the manga (both volumes) and found it to be one of the funniest damn things I had ever read. That and Mune-Mune is just plain STACKED.
Divergence Eve - Nanako's character designer returns. We get more of the alternately bouncing double-barrels. SunStar is pleased.
DearS - Chobits-style story with a twist of alien slave? I'm IN.
Mouse - DAMN did I love this one. Sorta like Lupin The 3rd with three times the dirty pillows and 1/100 the length of the story.
Maburaho - No experience, sorry.
Mahoromatic - See above.
This Ugly And Beautiful World - Never even HEARD of it.
Desert Punk / Sunabouzu - THE epitome of tasteless humor and blatant boob shots. So you KNOW I love it.
