Carrera's Sogna's unofficial mascot and practically synonymous with Viper games. The sexy succubus helped jumpstart Sogna with Viper V6, the first Viper game ever made, and put them on the map with Viper GTS, which sold over 1 million copies in Japan:

Akira starred in Viper V16 Rise and like Carrera, has a large following. Her game helped push Sogna's transition into their Hyper Animation Series label, and between the two, she probably has more fanart and just as many appearances, if not more appearances in Viper games across the board. And she's a sexy waitress with long red hair.

The people will decide which character they like more.

Akira frees herself (and others) from her alien captors not once, but twice. I think that proves she can defend herself quite well actually.
