These two girls never finish first.  Mercedes can't compete with Carrera; Makoto is bested by Akira.

One of these two will move on.  The other is saddled with the runner-up label once again.

I think this is the hardest one to pick.  Wow it's close.  I'm going with Mercedes, but both deserve to move on.
