This is something I just found out yesterday, and Hyperguy didn't know it either so I thought I'd share.

It turns out that our good friend "Alphina" (the dude in this picture) from the GTS backstory is named after a car company after all.  Since finding out Rati is derived from Maserati, I've tried to find out where "Alphina" comes from.  Reason I couldn't find anything is becuase we've been spelling it wrong.  It's Alpina, like the Alps/Alpines.  Turns out they're a German refit company (they don't build their won cars but remodel existing BMWs), keeping with the European automobile theme of V6/GTS.
