Whats the deal with rape = handshake?

You guys ever wonder...?

Whats the deal with rape being so big with hentai? Or the tentacle monster sex?

Viper V16 - The 3 girls in the restaurant are kidnapped by some mole-people (or more accurately rock looking creatures) and are raped into submission... (for the purpose of pro-creation, of course, somehow all of their women died off or something... not really explaining what happened to their women of their race)

Viper CTR - the one short haired girl is raped by a pack of guys, gang banged, crying and what all.

Viper GTB - The 3 restaurant girls are kidnapped by an alien insect-humanoid of all things and raped into submission. (No ending is a good ending on this one seems like to me)

Viper F40 - A purple haired chick rapes some businessman looking fellow and performs forced fellatio on him... of all things. Interesting in the fact its the first time I've ever seen a woman rape a man - lol.   :catch

Rape must be like a handshake to people in Japan. Thats about the only explaination I can really come up with... Because not only regular people do it to perfect strangers in their games/anime all the time, but aliens from outer space greet the inhabitant girls of earth to rape, creatures from under the earth come to rape girls, demons come to rape girls, its all about rape being a handshake or a "how do you do?" type thing.

Not that I'm trying to ruin the poigniancy (sp?) of storylines, but when it happens every cliched storyline, it sort of happens to take its toll... Maybe I'm biased.

Can't help but to think this comes from the same country that came up with "Jet Jaguar" (... see Godzilla series and you'll know what I'm talking about)

Anyways its just funny stuff I noticed about Japan. Some friend of mine told me they have a gameshow over there called "Find the Virgin" but I don't know how true it is, but I've seem some of the crazy shit on Nippon TV on the internet and I wouldn't doubt it.

Actually, they explain that fact quite well in both the Japanese and International versions. The undergrounders have no women and only the royalty is able to reproduce. So Akira, Karin, and Saki aren't the first girls kidnapped - it happens every 20 or 30 years or so.

Oh man, I wish could write an essay on this in the limited amount of time I have on this computer, but I think what Mr.Whitefolks of pimp-productions.com said about rape sums it up pretty well.

Ah, that's right.  On Dave Atell's Isomniac tv show he went to Japan and they mentioned "Find the Virgin" when they were at the TV studio.

It's kind of interesting really, how rape is such a serious topic in the States yet comes up so often in Japanese porn.  I mean, when was the last time you saw an American porno that had rape in it?  It's almost always consensual sex in American porno.
