Best Gundam Protagonist/Main Character

Well, the title mostly explains it


My vote is for Amuro Ray.He appears in nearly all UC Era series and during Char's CounterAttack, he gets pure pwnage in the form of piloting Nu-Gundam

Voted for Amuro by default. Never saw those other series in the poll, so I can't judge them. The only comparisons I can make are to the protagonists of G-Gundam and Gundam Wing, which had characters considerably less awesome than the classic series.

And no Seabook Arno?  The f91 was pretty cool (Z-Gundam better but whaomg now you're just picking nits)

What about Shiro Amada and Aina Sahalin?  Sure 08th had a really wonky ending but throughout the series was pretty good.

But anyways, my vote definitely goes to Kou Uraki for the following reasons:
The only REAL competition to Kou is Amuro, and Amuro's a big pansy, plus Kou is eleventy gajillion times more awesome than Amuro.  Amuro gets all teh slack, Kou went to prison!  Poor Kou.  Plus kou no need silly newtypeness U_U

Plus the GP01 is the most badass gundam ever created.  Followed close by Z-Gundam and then F91 but other than that GP01 > * U_U
Okay ZZ-Gundam kinda cool too but it always runs out of energy >_>

Yeah but I don't think Char can be counted as a "protagonist" =D  Otherwise yes I would have listed him.

Speaking of, his custom Zaku ruled.  Best non-gundam MS evr.  Zakus rule.

Gotta go with Amuro on this one, but still Heero Yuy is a close second for me.

I will note that 08th Team is pretty awesome.  It has some great combat sequences.

Well, i only added the Wing main lead for anyone that liked them(not me, though)

IMO, Nu-Gundam(Especially Hi-Nu) would tear up any of the G-Wing gundams

If we're talking main characters, Loran Cehack is my favorite Gundam protagonist. In general, though, Bright Noa is the best character in all of Gundam!

Since you happen to know about SRW -- you know those "Real" robos?  Well, in the SRW series, like 80% of the Real robos are from the MS Gundam series.  And like half of them are actual Gundams too XD
