Made a visual novel game in Novelty: Clocku Toweru (http://www.mediafire.com/?vd59nv1t7yag90x)
In spite of people asking to use spoiler tags in this thread: http://www.visualnovelty.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=724
I guess this is some kind of level up? I used to make Photoshops as a result of forum theatrics. Moving on to games feels...Weird, yet nice.

Not functional in Windows 7 64-bit. Wants to use a 32-bit DLL that doesn't exist on the 64-bit OSes.

Ah, that's right. It needs DirectX 9 (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=35) to run.
What a bother. I know it's still in beta but that makes me wonder if I'm going to need to bundle a DirectX9.0c download with any games I end up distributing with an installer.
I have DirectX 10 installed but it still won't run?
Novelty needs DirectX 9 to run, not 10. Despite the sequential numbering, the two versions are actually two parallel branches of the DirectX API. DX10 is exclusive to Windows Vista and is only supported by the latest graphics card. DX9 will run on all versions of Windows and on older computers. If you're a Windows Vista user you can have both DirectX 9 and 10 installed simultaneously and they will not conflict with one another.
New Novelty users are recommended to download the latest DirectX 9 runtime from Microsoft's website to ensure compatibility.

I can say with the highest esteem that this is the best Clock Tower fan game i've ever played.

Still doesn't work on Win7 Ultimate 64-bit after going though the DX9 install. :(
I'll try to load on my Vista, but its 64-bit as well.

Have you tried running it through the Win XP emulator?
I hate to say it, but you're missing out on a fantastic game.
