Btw, the older I get the more of a kid I will be because now I can afford all those wonderful toys and can go get them even if I didn't finish eatting my veggies ^_^

Still, I can't help but laugh out loud, because something about the picture is kind of silly.  Maybe it's the expression on his face, or the absurdity of the doll ears on the girl, or just the combination of the two, but somehow I just can't stop laughing. XD

Yeah, I don't have a camera.  The picture was taken with a friend's.

I dug up the digital camera my Dad dropped on me and I don't have a way of transferring pictures from the camera to a computer.  The camera uses a proprietary cable for connection via USB and I don't have a card reader for its paltry 16 MB memory card.

But!

I found a card reader for $5, (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16820240002) which beats the hell out of the card readers that were being sold at Walmart for $20.  Flash memory also appears to be cheap, and my camera's a lot more capable than I initially realized, so I think I'm going to doing some photography here and there.


Just out of curiosity, how important is it that we post our pictures here?  So important that those who don't are in the wrong?  Personally, I don't mind posting my pic(provided it's a good one) because it puts a face behind my posts and shows that despite this amazing internet I'm human.  But at the same time, I understand there's some who'd rather not post their picture, and even some who shouldn't.

Like JG for example.  He's got quite a reputation as a walking, talking Viper dictionary.  Were there to be a mythos surrounding North American Viper fans, the fact that he's yet to post a picture of himself would only make him seem that much more interesting(because people lose interest in what they already know and have already seen).

It's just like Marvel Comic's policy that under no circumstance will the original theif who killed Uncle Ben be named or brought to justice by Spiderman(ignore the movie). Doing so would take away something from Spiderman, just as posting a picture of yourself in some instances can take away from your mystique.  Crazy, but true.

And I know Cole Tyger no better from his avatar, which he's had since the forum started.  Being able to see what he actually looks like would be nice, but honestly I think I rather know him as the guy with the Tiger avatar.

Ah, I see. The verb I learned was "s'énervait", but I can't quite figure out the infinitive at the moment, so I guess I didn't really learn it (except to say it, because it would probably sound the same). I'm not a native french speaker, and I'm only in French 3, so occasionally I'll user a translator to get quick words and verbs, but it's irritating because sometimes, it'll give one (hey, I have to practice my French even while I'm speaking English) a more obscure word than what one is looking for.

That slang is what really screwed up my comprehension of what you were saying, I'd probably get mauled in Canada. Something strange, or maybe not, I've noticed, is that I understand another language much better when someone speaks it to me than whan I try to speak it. I should learn some more slang occasionally, I really do want to visit QC sometime.

I find learning other languages enlightening, because as I do so, I discover more about English, and the very nature of language itself. Occasionally I'll think about how it would be strange for a foreignor who learned English to hear people here in the U.S. talking, the words are constantly evolving and being invented here. I find that kind of irritating though, because it's mostly people being to lazy to say or type the damn original word.

yeah,my buddy has a nice Freddy outfit...my outfit is more of a different colored jumpsuit to go with my Jason Goes to Hell mask.(Kane Hodder had a gray jumpsuit in JGTH).I also put on black leather gloves to my Jason outfit...hee hee...The entire mask fits right over my head,and we had lots of fun taking that pic...lol

There's a part in that which reminds me very much of Parkour. he's not using any of the specific techniques, but he's owning the hell out of the guys chasing him by using the environment.

I don't remember that part. Probably a good thing. My favorite series were the first 2 seasons of MMPR (Dinozords through Thunderzords). Those things owned so hardcore. Plus, it was before they turned Goldar into an alien Bulk/Skull.

i have watched power ranger from the begining and about at wild force (not nearly as fervently as with the first sirese) i noticed the one is not ment to watch them all for it gets droll and i could predict the outcomes of probems the resolutions to whole episodes....so ya i have drop powerrangers cold turky

i have no real camera (even those my compy came with 20 million card drives  to replace the floppy drive) i have a cheap toy like low quality one i shall try to use if i can find the instalation cd (had to format my compy) or ill look on other computer in near future but i have a chaicture whitch ill try to find it my do for now

Behold, somewhat old pictures of my figurine collection!  Unfortunately, a lot of them are broken in some way, most noticeably the Chun-li one... darn cheap plastic and impossibly dynamic poses.... >_<;  Anyway, I got a lot of these back in March when I went to Midsouthcon in Memphis.  I posted these as links, seeing how they're quite large; didn't want anyone to bitch at me about it.  =P

This reminds me of a time my buddy Mr. Chupon and I were going down the countryside and all of a sudden we saw this beautiful forest, we had to take a picture, it was really upsetting because Mr. Chupon had let me hang onto the camera, and the pictures didn't turn out right because it was filled with water, there was nothing but big white light on the film! I suppose you could call it a flash flood.

If you look at human history, early man lived almost exclusively off of fruits, vegetables, and fish that he caught from the lakes, red meats and such were consumed less out of the sake of convenience, this is why a lot of people from "back in the old times" lived longer, if we look at the ages of people in the Bible (Which I know can be disputed easily, but theres no doubt that people in the Fertile Crescent region were healthier than others, as well as the people of Alaska and the far northern regions of the planet.) The answer? Fruit, and fish.

I eat red meat maybe once a week on average, poultry more than red meat but not as much as fish. Don't be afraid of making a whole meal out of vegetables or fruits - Get a bunch of grapes and eat the bastards until you're full. Too much red meat and dairy makes you fat, this is proven, instead of dairy - Drink Soy or Rice milk (Don't listen to the Estrogen theories, those are concocted by super macho guys who listen to what ultra-conservative dairy farmers say as gospel.) Canned tuna, salmon (Really good fats there), mmm mmm. And never ever fry your food. Also when you DO consume red meat, don't do that well-done shit, it kills the good stuff in the meat, eat it rare as you can, the ancient Spartans and Gladiators consumed meat rare, animals and ancient man did the same, its natural, stop killing your food. Fruits and veggies are equally important when it comes to consuming raw foods.
