It's true! EnsignRyusei knows a lot about Mecha and even has a main character as an avatar. But!

I think he would have expressed interest like 5 posts ago if he was seriously considering taking up modship of that forum. He's a definite shoe-in, but you can't make Ryu dragonpunch.

meaning Up, Forward, Back, Down

So that's a F, D, FB + Punch.

At least that's how I learned it back when I used to play Street Fighter II on the SNES. Wow, nostalgia time. Sudden flashback of my brother and me looking through the SFII instruction manual and reading some of the sampel moves. And us trying to make up words to make out of Shoryu and Hadoken. And other moves. HOW DO YOU DO, KEN!? SHOW YOU, RYU?!

My friends and I made a video for business class in high school starring us as the Street Fighter characters, and demonstrating how a career change can occur no matter what your previous experience, as long as you have the drive, it was funny as hell and I wish I had it, I would post it. There was a hilarious cameo from Raiden in MK too.

Raiden: "Welcome to Raiden's Lightning Fast Used Autos, how can I help you today?"
Customer: Well, I'd like to buy a-
Raiden: *plows into customer full speed with a torpedo gesture yelling* SOYOUWANNABUYACAR!!!!?

Good times, we got knocked up points because our teacher was a Street Fighter fan and fell out of his chair laughing when Ryu and Ken were a gay couple living together with adopted chinese babies in Minnesota. Watching my friend dragon punch a 10 year old was worth it all.

Kid: Dad can I go with Jenny to the mall?
Ken: *shoryukens child but yells* YESYOUCAN!
