You're absolutely right.  I tried it and it wanted me to put in an MS-DOS system disk to do the install.  Hory clap - I haven't seen one of those in 7 or 8 years.

So I used EditDisk to copy all the files to a 5MB bootable hard drive image instead.  Click here to download.  The AUTOEXEC.BAT file is set to start the game automatically.

It must be exceedingly rare.  It took me two years of off-and-on again Google searching just to find a single picture of it, which, as far as I know it to be, has this picture of Cala on the cover.  Which brings up a question: Is that really the front cover of Evolution-II?  All the other pictures I've seen of it have Akira (the "beach babe" cover.)  I can't be sure entirely sure from your picture but I think you might have photoed the back by mistake since it looks like the binding might be on the left and the leafs on the right, which is proper for English but backwards for most Japanese books. (The 10th Anniversery Fan Book is in English order though, as are all the game manuals and the Sogna Information periodicals, so its not unheard of for Sogna to do it.)

I got my copy of GT1 today and can confirm the Album Disk is something you had to send off for.  Mail in the bottom of this card and Sogna sends you the Album Disk a couple of weeks later.  I'm quite sure I can't use it now. :/



There doesn't seem to be any additional charge involved.







Something else that comes in the GT1 package:



The VIPER-GTB novelization?  Now what the hell happened to THIS?  They set a price, claim it'll be out by end of year, and even go so far as publishing advertisement flyers for it and including them in their games, but never get around to actually publishing the thing?  Very odd.

Also curious why we see V16-style Saki in this picture instead off GTB style.  At no time were Saki and Makoto employed at Anne Mitters at the same time (unless there was going to be a backstory in the novel that Sogna never told us), and this is the only image I know of with both of them in waitress outfits at the same time.

Satan has such a bad rep though, last time he shipped my succubus to 10 different places before he got the address right. Srsly. Try a different power. Satan's gone soft.

Note: the succubus was really really confused by the time she got to my house. Couldn't remember where she came from or anything. After she hit her head on the doorway while trying to FLY through the HOUSE because she's DUMB, she couldn't remember her own name.

Also she only speaks in Haiku.
