VIPER Collection Photos
« on: November 23, 2007, 04:28:53 pm »
As if Black Friday doesn't get any better, I got my M3 package in from Japan today, too.  When I opened it up I was stunned to see how huge the box was (and how this might have hurt sales.)  In order to properly tell the story to the rest of you, I took a picture of all my VIPER stuff together.

Row 1: All four VIPER Illustrations artbooks, both Sogna Illustrations art books.
Row 2: GTB art book, RSR art book, F40 Fan Book, Evolution 1 (the other three are absurdly rare), all five V series doujinshi
Row 3: BTR (with CD single), Museum, F50 Limited Edition (with the Bravan CD soundtrack, poster, and paper mask), M1, M5 (including the deck of cards), M3 3.2 (with figurines)
Row 4: V6 (original Windows version), V8 (Classic Collection version), V10 (original Windows version), Island 1 & 3, VIPER Music Collection 1
Row 5: GTB demo, GT1 demo, Paradice demo, F50 demo

So what makes that M3 box so big?  A pair of 6 inch tall Kaoru and Rika figurines.

While I was at it I took a couple of other pictures...

Such as doujinshi made of GUNYAROCK and WIN:

I also got this in with my M3 today.  It came pretty cheap but I expected it to have some H factor.  It doesn't, and worse, its all black and white except the first page or two, the jacket and a nonremovable foldout poster of the cover.  Discounting the always fantastic Kimura character designs, I'm not a big fan of GaoGaiGar but I know alot of you are.  I might be interested in selling or auctioning this off.  PM me if you're interested. 182 pages, A4 sized; poster is A5.  If there's interest I'll scan a page or two for examples.

I was going to say something about my great and mighty penis but then those amazing pictures awed me into shock and forgetfulness.

Just thought I'd post something that bothered me a lil bit, well not really bothered me, but something that seemed a lil off
recently bought the Viper RSR cd-rom boxset, and came with an art cell

The one on the left, is a screenshot of a frame from the game
The one on the right, is the cell art that came with the boxset.
The lighting from cell art is coming thru the window, while the frame the light is coming from the orb.

JG00 mine was Frame 744.

Come back to us when it's one of those 3d boob mouse pads.  Then again if it's Cala it'd probably lift your arm completely off the table and you'd be unable to use the mouse at all.

The Viper GT1 Album Disk

Why has this never shown up as an ISO anywhere?!  Heads will roll I tell you.

Given the packaging for it, it looks like it might have been a demo disc you could pick up at game stores.  The GTB, GT1, and Paradice Demo I own (see bottom of this picture) all have the same style of packaging: a paperboard booklet that flips open at the top, with the inside folded into a sleeve glued on one side, while the other side has a tab that folds down so the CD doesn't fall, with a small cutout on the back right-hand side so you can tell if a CD is in the booklet or not.

Still, I wants.
