We're too busy (supposed to be) playing SF4 to post about it!

Still waiting on PC version here.  It's going to be a hell of a wait. D:

You don't own a console Hyperguy?!  How do you get your fighting game fix?  GGPO?

Backgrounds and music are disappointingly meh, but most importantly the gameplay has transitioned smoothly to the third dimension.

I used to play Cammy, but she's far too gimped for my liking to pick her up again.  Dhalsim is my go-to man now, and unlike Cammy he's actually improved since the previous SFs.

Ha, I was wondering when someone was going to make a topic here. I'm trying to main Chun-Li since I never really gave her a chance before. I'm actually refusing to play the  :qcf :p/ :qcb :k song & dance because I've been playing them in previous games. Time to change it up. Although I need a good partner for my Chun-Li, since there's some matches I'm just not good at with her at the moment.

And who else got the Tournament Edition Stick? Or picked up a new controller because they know the stock game pads just won't cut it?

I got the PS3 version the moment it dropped (literally, working at an entertainment store gives you access to all those crates and boxes before everyone else). Ken and Fei-Long are my go-to guys for working the online folks. Also PSN ID: hellomrhmd.

Go easy on me...actualy scratch that, hurt me plenty. Gives me a reason to pop the game in more often to brush up on my skills or lack thereof. ^_^;

Sup guise, I'm back.

Anyone wanna play? I'm in Seattle right now, but I'll be back home on Monday.
I main Ryu (Umehara Shoryu ftw) and I'm trying to get a good Akuma on a stick.

I used to main Fei and Gouken, but my Fei started to get raped once I started to see FA canceling online.

PSN: iGear

I'm a big fan of Street Fighter II. I grew up playing the arcade in the grocery store, spending quarter after quarter beating up Chun Li and then being pummeled by the terrifying Blanka. Street Fighter IV for the PC.
Thumbs-up go to...
*Traditional 2-D fighting, with 3-D models and environments
*Classic characters plus a few new ones
*Great button-mashing fun for the causal player
*Focus & combo attacks for the advanced player to master
*Online multiplayer

Thumbs-down go to...
*Windows live account needed to save data
*Poor English voice-acting (you can choose Japanese or English voices)
*CPU controlled characters are annoying, using repetitive moves
*Imbalanced A.I. I was beaten by the easiest difficulty and then immediately won a match against the hardest. Very Odd.

Verdict...
The majority of the game is solid. Fans of Street Fighter will like the feel of this one. The in-game graphics are sharp and colorful, and the character models are well fleshed out. Sure they have huge cartoon muscles but who wants to battle it out with a skinny, malnourished Ryu. The animation runs smooth and looks great for all the moves too. The game does includes some anime cut-scenes to tell part of the narrative. The anime doesn't bug me too much, but I would have preferred a more congruent style for the cut-scenes such as the wonderful in-game graphics. Still it's a good game, lots of unlockables, a training mode, and overall satisfying. 4/5 stars.

I don't think anyone around here honestly needs a review of SF4 at this point, but it was an entertaining read nevertheless.

Let's be honest: the character models in 4 are quite bad (not all of them). Ideally, 3D Street Fighter should look something like this (Mahvel 3's are also quite good) --
